New day, new experience. I ordered online for pick-up, but instead of team members working together to help me, I found locked doors. I called and was instructed to wait in the drive thru. What's the point of ordering online ahead for pick-up when they don't allow the pick-up today. Then I'm waiting behind 6 people deciding what to order and waiting for their ordered to be fulfilled while my food is getting cold on the counter. I get to the window and there my order sitting on the counter. The attendant found it, inspected it, and handed it to me. What possible reason did I have to wait in the drive thru for that? I get the food home and my wife asks what I ordered because instead of 10 pieces of chicken, there were 3 with corn and mashed potatoes. All that extra time I had to wait and they screw up my order. The manager said they were understaffed (how many people does it take to count to 10?). She said I could come back and wait in the drive thru again (seriously?!) and she would give me the chicken I should already have. The people working here are really cooperating as a team to get your order. Then one guy went on a scavenger hunt all over to get the items needed to fill my order.
Order online with website or app. Use your account and collect points. Chicken is hot and fresh when you pick it up. Everything is as you know it except salsa is now handed out so be sure to ask for what you want. No dine in option.
There are deals for good prices but only if you're willing to skip the breast pieces and get all though /leg. Dark meat is tastier, but white is leaner. No good deals available for my family.

Read moreWhen first opened this location was wonderful. The chicken was great compared to other locations and the service was good as well. Even after covid-19 it didn't change. Now all of a sudden basic things are over looked. Like ordering right before the dinner rush and being told sorry we're out of the leg and thigh. That's the most popular! How do you not have any at 4:30pm on a Thursday. I don't know if the management changed, but the place went downhill. The friendly staff that was there is gone, the chicken is completely over cooked, and the new people there make it obvious that they aren't interested in customer service. Just robotic and drone like and it's just getting worse. Now to make it worse, with everything opening back up everywhere, they still have the dining room closed for pick up orders, yet they allow delivery drivers and online orders in. Not sure how that supposedly stops the spread when you just allow some people in the lobby but not all. My family gets did from here every week at a bill of about $78. Needles to say we don't come here anymore. Instead we trek across town to the week pollo loco on van buren because we've never had any issues there at all. Management at this location needs some serious help or just to be replaced before I'll spend a penny here ever again st this eastvale...
Read moreShowed up there today Tuesday at 4:08 p.m. There was a sign on the door that said "closed until 4pm" The manager walked outside and propped the door open, so we walked in assuming they were open. When we walked in the cook said "we're closed" I said " the sign says closed until 4pm and it's 4:08pm and she just watched us come in" He looked at her and she just looked at him and said to him " we open at 4:10 p.m." I looked at him and said " It IS 4:10 p.m." he just said again " we're closed" So we walked outside to wait and there were other confused customers waiting. Manager walked out again and didn't say a word. Then a girl showed up and they talked for a while outside, but the doors remained locked. By now it was 4:26 p.m so we decided to leave. As we were leaving there was a family in a car. The woman asked " are they closed?" I told her about our experience and her husband said " This is the worst Pollo Loco location we've ever been to! " the wife says " the orders are wrong or they don't have what we wanted , the service is awful and the workers are rude!!" The man says " we've been here 3 times, but this will be the last" I said " Thank you . This will be my first and last as well" Oh I forgot to add that the drive thru was closed.
