$$$ basic membership/24hr access Members required to give 2month notice to cancel membership because they will charge you those 2months regardless. Following your first 2months joining you are charged $50 to maintain and update equipment. This gym offers free weights, resistance work out equipment and multiple forms of elliptical and treadmills. Equipment wise this gym is well equipped. The pricing however is a little steep and mostly unjustified. The most basic plan allowing for 24hr access will run $20/2 weeks for a total $40/month. My problem with this pricing is because of the little things I feel would make the money worth it. The single water fountain will not dispense for bottle filler. The vending machine remains empty with no availability for water or sports beverages. Members have no way to purchase sports beverages from the standing cooler during installed hours. The male facilities accommodates only 1 urinal, 1 stall, and 1 sink. Benches are simply lumber nailed to the wall and showers appear to have been removed from a trailer park demolition. Lockers are available but have no shelving or clothing hooks. The overall amount of resistance equipment leaves members crowded and unable to locate certain equipment at times. All of this minor inconvenience can be tolerable if not for the financial requirements of membership. I believe the little things should reflect pricing and because they don't I would not say it is worth the price...

I very rarelyyy give reviews. I just recently moved to the Lake Oconee area. I searched for a gym and the selections are few. I decided to check out Bodyplex but apparently FitCo purchased it summer of 2022. FitCo as a company has great reviews so I was excited. The new owner, Chris, is phenomenal! He is personable, attentive and the staff is very friendly and attentive as well. I have noticed that they are always straightening and keeping the gym as clean as possible. The owner has begun renovations and ,as we all know...this takes time. There is a plan in place. I love that FitCo offers machines, a room for classes for people that enjoy those, cardio area, free weights and a crossfit area....that is huge to me and is an area that I enjoy because I have done Crossfit for 7 years until a couple of years ago when I decided to do strictly weight training and walking . There is something for everyone at FitCo Lake Oconee. They also offer childcare for parents that need to bring their kids. I felt no pressure at all to join....I just knew after I toured the place...knowing it is under renovations...that FitCo is a place that I will enjoy and be comfortable working out in. I love it there! It never hurts to check it out:). Side note- FitCo offers 24/7 access for those that choose that membership … various levels membership...

Gym and facility is overall good. Some equipment is newer and the facility is generally clean. However, cancellation is another story altogether. I pay an additional amount for “month to month” for almost a year. Upon reaching out to cancel due to a move out of state I was told a manager would follow up and then when I called back a few weeks later after they hadn’t was told the manager was on vacation. When I pressed further I was given an 800 number to call to do so myself. After being on hold for over an hour I was told that I would need to pay yet another 2 months of my membership because there is a 60 day notice on the “month to month” plan and was refused any concessions for the weeks waiting to be contacted by my location....
