First time at this place. I tried to use coupons sent to me in the mail at the register to save on my merchandise. I gave the applicable coupons to the cashier. They were not expired. Later, in the parking lot, I found out the cashier only discounted one or two of them from my purchase when I had many I had given to the cashier. I realize now that the cashier moved so swiftly and rushed me, pulling out a cell phone, texting while placing my merchandise into the cart for me and telling me to have a good day. I was confused about the cell phone useage while on the job, got caught up in all the distractions, and didn't realize alot of what happened to my shopping experience until I was out the store. I looked for a receipt, which I thought the cashier put into the bag. Nope, no receipt, so I went back into the store to attain one. The cashier was gone! Went to customer service. Had to answer the question of 'which lane did I use'?, to which I replied, 'I didn't know the lane, but I knew the cashier's name'. Nope, apparently not good enough. They go by employee numbers...or something, is what I was told. CSR went down the line of registers, opening, closing registers and telling me, nope, not this one. Somewhere in the process, the CSR paged a new hire to punch in the transaction code on the register that was discovered I did use. After the new hire punched in the transaction code on the register I went through, the receipt printed out and I got it. I immediately reviewed the transactions and shared with the new hire that the cashier had not applied all of my coupons that I had surrendered to original cashier. The new hire basically told me he had done what he was told and that if I had further issues to take it up with Customer Service. I asked the new hire to check the till for my coupons, but the response was, the till is empty, and it would be my word against the original cashier as to if I had submitted them the first time. I was so angry at such poor service and I had spent lots more on merchandise than I had to had they honored and recorded all the coupons I brought in that day. As for the cashier, that person went off the clock and I never did get to rectify the situation. I hesitate to return. Not my kind of store, if you can't even trust them to ring up all of the coupons-not just one or two! Oh, and keep the cell phones put away and pay attention to your...
Read moreA few months ago I purchased a set of 4 tires for my suburban. At that time the price was right (very good in fact) and I was satisfied with the customer service I received. I'm I purchased my tires I was sold a package that included lifetime tire rotation and balancing as well as damage tire repair. This week I went to the store to schedule a rotate and balance which as I stated earlier was included at the time I purchased my tires earlier this year. the representative in the tire department told me that the soonest they could get me in was 6 days from then. mind that I have a damaged tire and that tire needed to be repaired promptly and they told me it would be 6 days. he cited a recent tire sale that the store had had I'm going and that because of the tire sale they had no time essentially to take care of customers that had already purchased tires and had purchased the package I did which included rotating and balancing as well as repairing damage tires. I went to the front of the store and ask to speak to the store manager. An assistant store manager by the name of Mark came over and took my name and number and told me someone would call me back. Nobody called me back. Somehow I'm not surprised. All of that being said, I would highly NOT recommend the tire center at this Eau Claire store. Go somewhere else that is committed to service because this organization clearly is not. Like any many big box store they are committed to making their numbers and only that. Sales, sales, sales. That is what they care about. they take your money for the services that they promised you and they don't deliver. They can't even call customers back. ...
Read moreWorst shopping experience. Spent 20+ minutes waiting for the "lawn expert" to come to the mowers just to find out it was a 16 y.o. kid who didn't know anything about mowers or lawn care. So we do our own research and select one for purchase. When the cashier was checking us out, we are asking questions about how the mower works and warranties, to which all of our questions are met with "I don't know" or "I've never sold any mowers before." After getting through that, we pull around outside to get the mower. The loader drives the fork lift into our trailer and leaves a sizable dent on the side. After making it back to our home, we see there's bird crap and dried mud on the mower., Under the hood, there's wiring unplugged and hoses hanging from the motor that are clearly supposed to be plugged in somewhere. We charge the battery, put in fresh gas, and the mower does not run. We immediately call back and customer service says all they can do is check the battery for us unless we want to return it. We opt to return the mower, drive 30 minutes back to store, and find out from customer service there that they won't take the mower back and they can't help fix it ( and this is 2 hours after we bought it in the store). So now, we are out $2500 and stuck shuttling the mower back and forth from EC Lawn until the mower is running again. Pretty convenient for the store to sell the mowers and then totally wash their hands of the transaction. Hopefully others can learn from our experience with this store and take your...
