If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would!! When I first arrived lizzy was very nice and efficient at checking me in , but then when I got to my room my TV didn't work, the remote was covered in dried up red sauce of some type and it was even worked down into the buttons. 🤮 so they came and wiped the remote down. Then my partner was tired and he laid down in 1 of the 2 beds and went to sleep , the next morning he wakes up and I notice I smell ON HIS SKIN!!! He had slept on his chest , and the next morning his skin REEKED of URINE!!!!!!!!! I guess the previous guest has urinated in the bed , and instead of flipping the mattress or cleaning it in any way , they made the bed up over the dried urine , so when my partner sweated slightly it INFUSED INTO HIS SKINNN!!!!! so we moved all of our personal belongings onto the clean bed that was in the room , I striped the urine bed down bare , put the linen outside the door , went to the front and talk to Alan the hotel manager . I explicitly told him what happened , and that I had already flipped the mattress because I knew they weren't going to and I wanted to be sure this didn't happen again , I almost took the whole mattress in the hallway but my partner stopped me . I told Alan the manager that we need house keeping to come in and MAKE UP THE ONE BARE BED! and I informed him that I placed all my personal belongings onto the other bed because I do not want that one touched. Only the one that is bare. He agreed and said okay. I left went to work and I come back and when I got back I I walked into my room . And I noticed something . HOUSEKEEPING HAD TOUCHED EVERYTHING I OWNED , 🤬🤬🤬🤬 BASICALLY PACKED UP ALL MY PERSONAL PROPERTY AS IF I WAS CHECKING OUT! so at this point I'm even more irritated. I go and talk to Alan again and tell him that Now I feel violated and uncomfortable and he tells me HE TOLD HER TO MOVE MY BELONGINGS!!! 🤬 HAVE YOU LOST YOU MIND? THAT IS 100000%% AGAINST ANY HOTEL POLICY!!!! he then come out and says it's all good. Nothing missing I assure you. So I went back to my room called corporate cause obviously the hotel manager was taking my issues to lightly for my liking. Plus he told hOUSEKEEPING to MOVE MY PERSONAL PROPERTY! Later on. I take a shower and go to blow dry my hair , the blow dryer overheated and cut off within 3 minutes of being on and wouldn't cut back on , and then I go to pack up my belongings and notice MY HAIR CRIMPER WAS STOLEN OUT OF MY STUFF!!!! I go back up to the front and Inform them that it cost $45 and I expect my money in my hand by the time I check out the next morning at 6am. I get called back to the desk to recieve my $45 . Which is great , i appreciate that . So now you reconciled for the STOLEN items. But what about the urine filled bed ? So now I have to call corporate again today to get that reconciled because when I went To the front desk to check out this morning at 7am Alan the hotel manager called me a liar , said nothing was ever stolen. And said he would not be reconciling for the urine and that corporate will have to do it, saying I already got my money for the item that was STOLEN . Yes. But there is more than 1 problem! So there need to be more than one solution. Paying me for something you stole isn't fixing anything . DO NOT EVER STAY HERE !!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND I WILL BE TELLING MY COMPANY TO REMOVE THIS HOTEL OFF THEIR LISTING FOR BOOKINGS. ! 🤮🤮🤮🤬🤬
NASTY AND THEVIES!! SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLES.
Then they respond with an automated message on her to handle things with their hotel management. BUT THE HOTEL MANAGER WAS THE PROBLEM , HE GAVE PERMISSION FOR MY BELONGINGS TO BE TOUCHED , THEN CALLED ME A LIAR , THEN REFUSED TO RECONCILE FOR THE URINE...

I stayed here 1/8/2021. The hotel pictures posted by management should be updated. The rooms have been remodeled and updated-NONE of those dated yellowish color wood furnishings. They are NOW a deep dark brown and very modern! At least in the king suites they are :)
The staff are professional, courteous, friendly, and helpful. The continental breakfast had a nice selection and even has a hot pancake machine.
This is a very clean establishment. From the lobby, to the breakfast room, down to my room's bathroom, everything was exceptionally clean! There is an ice machine and vending machines centrally located right off of the lobby.
I booked the king room with fireplace and hot tub. It is a huge room!! Room number 126. Both king suites are the first rooms right off of the lobby, so very few steps with your luggage :) I got this room for about $100 and that was on a Saturday night! At any other hotel it would be FAR more expensive and HIGHLY doubt it would have been any better. Take a look at the photos I included. The only thing I would recommend to the management here, is to place the couch in the center of the room facing the TV (TV does swivel by the way so it can face wherever you want). I moved the couch to the center of the room and was still able to navigate around it, on both sides, with my walker. Placed there it did not obscure the view of the TV from the hot tub or the bed. I wish I had taken a picture of it placed there before I put it back. And the couch DOES have a pull out bed. The room also has a decent sized fridge (no freezer) and a microwave.
The location is on a nice quiet side street. A nearby Kwik Trip, lots of close restaurants, and I think there is even a mall nearby.
If your stay does not require a pool and exercise room, this is a great choice! The hotel is pet friendly ($25 per pet per night as posted on this date."
Save yourself some money and stay at the EconoLodge. Better yet, spend what you would have at another hotel and treat yourself to a king suite with the hot tub and fireplace. You won't be disappointed! I was so impressed, I haven't even checked out yet. I wanted to get this review up here...
Read moreI was wary of staying at an econo lodge. Boy, was I humbled. This little star shines brighter than the over priced places down the road. We were coming in later than expected due to traffic around Chicago. As we called around for room rates the first thing that stood out about this place was the kindness of the employee who took our call. Second thing was the price being reasonable.
The environment was welcoming. Outside: The parking lot was well lit and I felt comfortable unloading my kids without hubby close. It has kind of a cute/home-like facade too. Inside: the lobby was extremely well maintained. In the room, I appreciate there wasn’t carpeting; flooring was easily cleaned laminate of some type. The room was clean and well decorated.
You can tell the care put into each detail. Other comments are mentioning a small breakfast. I think it was ample for the size of this place. It satisfied my three kids and that’s good enough for me. The gal managing the counter even took out the butter early so it was spreadable by breakfast time (details!).
If we need a place to stay on our return trip this will be it. 5 stars...
