Long, but worth while: please read before buying.
Originally my review was 5 stars. Felt like fair prices & nice people. HOWEVER.. this quickly changed when I realized they gave me the floor model of the couch that I ordered. I realized it because it reaked like their store. I tried talking myself out of it (maybe it just needs to sit and air out?) for 3 days - the couch was giving me headaches from the smell. I decided I couldn’t handle it anymore & was worried that the chair that I ordered would smell just like the couch does, so I went into the store. Ha! I walked in, knew exactly what I was smelling on my couch - the strong smell that is in their store! Weird? Looked over where the couch I ordered sat... gone? Hmm. I saw the lady that I ordered from (very nice gal, or so I thought) and she looked a bit concerned to see me & to see that I noticed the exact couch I ordered missing from the showroom floor. I asked her directly; “did you guys give me the couch from the showroom floor?” She immediately said “oh, no! Someone came in the same day and ordered the exact couch & they took it!” - - I find that very unbelievable, but ok. We continued our conversation.. I was very honest with her and told her that I’m sensitive to smells & that the couch I got smells exactly like it does in their store. She informed me that they have deodorizers or something in their vents & that all their stores smell this way AND that I’m not the first person to complain of a strong smell coming from their furniture order. She started to look up my order. She told me that my chair would be in in a couple of days and that they’re getting the couch in, too. (SEEMS A BIT WEIRD - DONT YA THINK?) sounds like MY ORDER is coming in. She said we could just “swap out” the couches. So, you mean, give me my intended order? Cool, thanks. I’ll be honest, I don’t think I’ll ever shop at this store again. I was very disappointed that I was given the couch that sat in their (stinky) store for however long & that the nice gal lied right to my face about it.

Read moreThe overall experience at the Eau Claire location wasn’t horrible, but in no way did the salesperson (Lindsey O.) tell us that all sales are final. We told her that we had other places to look at prior to making a decision, and she pushed that we should get it because we love it and are already at the store - would have been a great opportunity to instead do the right thing and let us know that all sales are final so that we could think on it and feel confident in our decision. My thought was that if we change our mind, then we could always cancel or return it. She didn’t point it out on the receipt when she went over the details of our purchase with us or anything. She gave us until the end of the day to make a decision before running it through our card (which is nice to an extent, but still feels icky knowing she left such a big detail out). I didn’t learn about it until I read through the fine print the next day. We even found some of the pieces at a cheaper price on Amazon, which makes it sting a little more. All my husband and I can hope for at this point is to receive the product on time and undamaged. Very disappointed in the service and will most likely not return- not to mention doing WAY more research before making a big purchase like this is the future. Read moreI had high hopes for our new couch after we purchased it. Kaitlin was helpful in the store and offered us discounts. Once we got it home, we realized that not only was the couch missing a bolt, but we had to rip off the bottom fabric on the wedge piece to find the holes to put the feet in. There were no directions regarding how to put the couch together or anything. When we called about the missing bolt which was causing one of the backrests to sag, we were told that someone would be sent that day to fix it and we would get a call back to arrange this. After not getting a call back, we called and were told that the repair man does not work on weekends and would call Monday. Monday came and went without a call. Finally on Tuesday, we were told that a bolt would be shipped to us and we could expect it by Friday. TWO WEEKS LATER, we have finally received the bolt THAT DOESN'T FIT. We've given up and are resorting to finding a new bolt on our own. I acknowledge that these issues seem small, however when you're spending thousands of dollars on a brand new piece of furniture, you expect it to come ready to use, and if it's not, you expect the stores' customer service to do anything they can to rectify the situation.
