Ive never worked in a restaurant in this state. I own my own company. I offered Burrito California in Menomonie as a substitute to your restaurant because they actually deserve my patronage. My wife and I refuse to eat at filthy restaurants.

I have standards. Us folk from the farther out cities travel to Eau Claire for many reasons including dining. Many companies fall short and have bad standards.

Maybe you don't get negative feedback because youre delusional. Im glad I didnt eat your food seeing as I couldn't even be provided with one table, or menu that was clean. What a shame.

This is very unusual and we had never ever heard any negative feedback about our food not being in a good state or our place being or looking duty, but the opposite to your comment. What’s more interesting about your review, is that out of ALL the Mexican restaurants in Eau Claire, you’re recommending a place that’s not even in Eau Claire. That make us wonder if you work in that place?! 🤔

Original review: Absolutely terrible. Greasy food covered menus, greasy food covered tables. My wife and I got up immediately and left. Zero sense of hygiene. Not giving you my hard earned money for food poisoning. DISGUSTING.

I’m not going to lie I was expecting more from this place by all the good things that were being said about how authentic and delicious it was with a great atmosphere. I ordered pazole to take home along with some quesabirrias because I woke up not feeling well this morning and knew that some authentic delicious hearty pazole would help me feel better, the pazole had maybe one spoonful of fixings and then it was all broth. How disappointing and I paid $16 for that?!? Not authentic or delicious at all when it’s just two pieces of meat with nothing else in the pazole but broth and lettuce and chili crisp they gave me on the side. The quesabirria tacos I am also very disappointed with, they were very bland, the consume didn’t even really have that much flavor and right when I got in the car I opened the box and this was right after they handed me the food mind you, the tacos were already luke warm-cold. I would like a full refund considering that was supposed to be my little bit of money to treat myself for the week and that all went to shit coming to encanto to try for the first time today, but I know a refund of my hard earned money probably won’t happen. Please do better. I don’t believe I’ll be returning, there’s absolutely better places to take your money for good...

I don't normally leave reviews, but after eating here, I don't have a choice (lol). Friend and I were in town for a pet expo, decide we wanted Mexican, reviews were good so gave them a shot. They hit the bullseye! I'm from Texas and very picky with my Mexican (been super hard finding good Mexican here in Wisconsin), and I loved this place! Atmosphere was great, our server was fantastic! He even made the salsa himself! Which I had to buy some to take home and offer to my husband and co-workers! The guacamole was too good to be true (for sure fresh and made right then and there!), my shrimp tacos, rice and beans had so much flavor! The mango margarita...I wanted another...But I was driving. (Sad day). My friend had some dish that had lots of seafood (shrimp, clams, crab legs, octopus). I was truly impressed. Planning a trip to take hubby soon (I'm in Wausau).
