Deka Lash — Local services in Eden Prairie

I had a wonderful time here at the salon, my tech was super kind! The reason for the low rating is, I scheduled my appointment for a full set of lashes 2 days before my birthday trip, hoping for beautiful luxurious lashes for the weekend. I left the salon with exactly what I wanted, but 24 hours in I was losing many lashes. I followed all the guidelines given, stayed out of water, no touching, ect. I washed the lashes using the Deka lash soap and brush I purchased from the store, after the 24hr mark. I woke up the next day(today) and I’m missing the entire outer corner of my left eye, and my lashes are beginning to have gaps in them. I got my lashes done April 17th at 4:30pm, I’m writing this April 19th at 10:15am. For such a high price point, and for this being for a special event, to say I’m disappointed is to say the least. I’m going to have to schedule a fill appointment at a different salon after I get to my destination, not even 48hrs after getting a full set!! 👎 Side note: I went in store at 9am today asking to fit me in to fix this before I leave and as I understand there wasn’t any availability before I had to leave, she also said I would have to pay the price of a fill. When she clearly saw I wasn’t happy she said “well I’m sorry, we could give you a complimentary full set next time.” I told her “I would rather have my lashes fixed.” She apologized. I signed up for a lash model and got a full set for $20 and I was very impressed! I love how natural my lashes looked after and I had never had lash extensions before. I noticed the next day that my inner corner lash on one of my eyes was a little out of place. If I had paid full price I would have gone back and asked for a quick fix but I don’t want to fuss for $20. Plus it was a lash tech who was learning and overall did a very nice job!

Overall it was a pretty easy experience, I have a hard time sitting for those two hours and the “chairs” were a little too hard for my head after some time. I’m glad I had the experience to try eyelash extensions and see how they work with my lifestyle. I don’t think I could ever commit to fill ins every two ish weeks for time and budget reasons. I think I will stick with the lash lift because it’s easier for my lifestyle and I like that it last longer with less...

I walked in the door and was greeted by a nice lady who I would eventually learned would be my stylist. The stylist I book with was working with another client no explanation from her. Not even agreeing a smile or look up. My stylist was pleasant and very nice. Fortunately I was not satisfied with her service. It's not a pleasant atmosphere. I got lashes and eyebrow wax but ran out of time for the tent. Thank goodness. After I left I hurried over to Eaton prairie Mall to brow Studio 7 and they did an amazing job fixing the eyebrow situation. So if you need your eyebrows done, I suggest to Eden prairie Mall first floor brow Studio 7. My lashes look okay but a bit Spacey and can tell that they are not glued to the bottom of my eyelash.
