Update: I don’t doubt any of their installers are’t great, but if you have a choice, go with Jimmy and Jordan. I finally finished my additional three bedrooms and am beyond impressed. I’m in VBay and wow! I’m adding some pics. And they were excellent with my dog, they were very aware of him and were so good at keeping track of where he was at all times!

I preface this by saying I NEVER write reviews. This is literally the second review I’ve written in ten years. Buy local. I know we say that, but if you take the time to shop around, it’s worth it. Hands down, way better customer service than I got at local NSB chain and saved money. I bought the flooring today and am excited for next week. I still have three more bedrooms to do but will give Edgewater Flooring my business. After selecting carpet for two rooms in my home and putting down a $600 deposit, we were called late the afternoon before the morning the carpet was to be installed and was told they didn't have enough carpet to do the job. My daughter and I immediately went to the store where we learned that the carpet had been sold to someone else. We understand that mistakes happen, but the employees (particularly Tony) were not apologetic in the least and did alot of blame-shifting. They offered to "work with us" to find something else, and thankfully they had something in stock that we were able to use (although we preferred our original selection). We felt pressured to make a choice right away because we had moved everything except the heavy furniture out of the rooms in preparation for the installation. The installers were great (Steven), but we can't recommend Edgewater Flooring because of the way this situation...

Wow-had much more inventory than I thought by storefront. Very helpful service by the owner named Billy. I am doing a kitchen in tile and then am going to do my whole house. Stopped in to see what selection they had not expecting much as it didn't look like he had much room. Was really surprised about how much stock he had and the variety of things. And VERY good prices. I would rather spend my money here in Edgewater anyway if things are close. But this is less expensive than big box and the owner was very nice, answered many questions. Prices were at least 25 pct lower than elsewhere and in some cases 40 pct. So I'm able to deal with a local business AND save money-and time not driving somewhere else.
