House of Vacuums — Local services in Edgewater

Every time I walk in, the guy is cool, happy to help, knows his stuff and interested in learning about the latest and greatest to determine what’s really worth it. He knows vintage too. Love this place. Takes care of all of my 5 vacuums that get abused by me and my hairiest dog in the world and keeps them going strong.

PS Anyone who gave him less than 5 stars has not encountered the lack of integrity out there today. If this place wasn’t here, it would be a shame. And, he should be allowed to have the giant vacuum outside, it was...

Friendly enough but my air purifier quite again but I had no money to have it repaired this time. I figured I could take it apart this time. As I examined it I could find not one screw anywhere so I followed the cord to the bottom of the unit to find it is a double plug cord and pushed the plug back into the machine and it works. Issue, I paid thirty dollars each time to have my machine fixed twice. Beware of this small family store I feel I have been ripped off. This store is on my "Black list." ...

Dave first serviced our Shark vacuum and did an amazing job. When it finally died (15 or so years later) I purchased our new vacuum from House of Vacuums. I explained what was most important to me, lightweight, ways to use, stairs etc. and his recommendation was spot on. Honestly didn't think I could be so happy with a new vacuum.
