Worse experience ever at a thrift shop. It says it helps veterans and because of this I went to support it seeing as though I come from a long line of veterans. I can Tell you now if you have children spare yourself the embarrassment children are not welcome here just because my child picked up a toy. And was walking it to me. The manager made an announcement over the intercom stating to get your children or you will be asked to leave. So I put everything I was going to purchase back because I never stay were I am not welcomed. Plus I could see my children the entire time.we were in the childrenâs clothing section. And never once did the manager come to me to even tell me there was an issue but I knew she was talking about me because I was the only one in the store with children. Plus as we were walk out the workers were laughing about it like it was funny my children were really confused why they were being laughed at. I will never in my life support this store again and I will be advising my family and friends to stay away as well. This was the worse customer service ever. I even call to get a number for...
Read moreI liked the staff here. They all spoke and acknowledged me during passing. Typically, all the things I want are never part of the sticker when I decide to thrift so that was unfortunate.
I will say this - there were A LOT of great finds! I couldnât leave with all of them because I couldnât fit them but I steal managed to leave with a lot of fun pieces. Let me define my definition of thrifting. I look for vintage, spunky, and unusual items. For $59 I scored:
banana republic leather bootcut pants tartan blazer Polk a dot blouse blazer with matching vest plaid wool skirt with fringes wool cardigan made in Ireland wool cardigan with threaded flowers from the British Hong Kong (didnât know of that province) blue leopard print cardigan cream sweater ($.99) vintage Le Tigre menâs sweater cable knit sweater
Thrifting isnât as fun as it use to be but I really got some great finds on this venture. I will say I think the leather is overpriced. Iâm use to paying $8-10 for leather not $20. My pants were only $15 but I think itâs because it was brown which was...
Read moreWhile entering this store today, my three year old granddaughter tripped over a rug that was curled up against the inside of the front door. As my granddaughter lay bleeding from the mouth on the floor, several employees behind the counter turned to see her lying there, but none came out to see if we need help. I had to ask for napkins to stop the bleeding and wipe blood from the floor. I had to insist that they move the mat so no one else would be injured. I was so incensed that a child could be injured in their store and no one bothered to check on her well being. I sat in a chair with my granddaughter in the store for several minutes to calm her and as I walked out, an employee who I hadn't seen earlier finally ask if she was ok. I heard one of the employees say that a rack fell on a mother and her baby earlier today. Your customers safety is important and your employees need a class on empathy. I will never shop at this...
