Checkers — Restaurant in Maryland

I have eaten here only two times since it opened, and got sick both times from the food (second time was because I gave it the benefit of the doubt that I was just under the weather or something, but that wasn't the case). My brother LOVED this places fries on a late weekend night, so I went there only to appease his food cravings when we hung out...which the banana shake and fries are maybe the ONLY safe things to eat here. At least thats what I WOULD have said until 2018, while at the daily frequented Edgewood Dunkin Doughnuts (right next door to this Checkers), I spotted pest control vehicles CONSTANTLY, and exterminators. Just as easy to notice is the fact that they (the owners) do not keep the A.C. up and running, so the workers sweat all over themselves and your food. Seeing people walking out with pit stains and faces dripping for air at the side door is deplorable, to not only them but the food they dripped on and you are paying for. If you value your health and dignity, skip this place and walk or drive yourself ANYWHERE else, this place is...

I wish I could give this place zero stars. The lady at the window was SO RUDE. I was ordering and she continued to rush me so I didn’t even get to look at the menu for more than 5 seconds. I told her I was done ordering and pulled up so I could actually look at the menu. I wanted to add something on because I was blatantly RUSHED to order so I asked at the window if I could add on a dessert and she started laughing and told me “actually no I won’t do that but you can pull back around” I knew she was a manager by her shirt. While I was waiting for the food she started to cuss out the guy who was working with her for about ten minutes. It was ridiculous I could hear her cussing through the window!!! What kind of customer service is this?!?! This is the most ratchet food service I’ve ever had the displeasure of going to and I will not be back. No one really can speak English..... 2nd there was not any authoritative management at all on the location. So what you have is non speaking Spanish employees No even trying to address any concerns about their orders they all ready paid for. Then watching them laughing at you. While you are trying to convey the improperly made food. Then being threatened by one of the employees. Not only will I be taken action with the main head quarters about this location. I will be taking a class A law suit against this franchise....... So everyone can still think it's a joke.. I will by all the legal appropriate steps to obtain a legal license to picket in the boundaries of this location.. all through legal rights.... Don't go to this store location.. It's totally SUCKS BIG XXXX. I will be calling the labor board and health department and discrimination...
