EDGEWOOD STORE-DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM--We ordered and paid $4300 in full on 7/18/21, we told them repeatedly we only wanted 1 delivery not multiple, we had even given them extra time- I have a printed record of all the calls and they informed me that yes "ALL" of the items would be delivered 10/29/21 only the bedroom furniture (of which they kept pushing to be delivered by itself) minus 1 nightstand was delivered- they state we will be "compensated" for having to take off work and wait around the whole day, we had called several times to see if the drivers were still out and we believe that Sofia was the one who answered the phone and was very ignorant and rude to us and when we asked for the manager we were dismissed. I personally went in on 11/3/21 only to be told no, (2 different answers) it still hasn't shipped from the manufacturer/that it was still on the ship (after being told several times that it was in for delivery) and that "there are people who ordered that will not be receiving their items until after January, and that I must have misunderstood what I was told prior", then they blamed covid, it has been 15 weeks for special order "6-8 week delivery" of which the bedroom set was delivered in beat-up boxes (we have to put together) and the drivers leave before you can inspect anything- recommend for your peace of mind to open and inspect everything before being pushed to sign anything. Read moreMy parents ordered 2 bunk beds on February 12 it was opposed to come in February 15 but it came late 3 days then we waited for my dad to come from work to open it and when we opened the box it was 2 different bunk beds then we went to the store they couldn’t help us they told us to email their manager then we emailed them on Saturday and they texted us back on Monday saying we can’t give your money back and you should’ve gave the bed back to the delivery like are you serious right now my parents weren’t even home and how do they expect a child to tell the man to wait and open the box and give it back like how were we suppose to know it was the wrong one it’s not easy opening a huge box with bunk beds inside. Then they said to bring it back to the store. First of all my dad is at work and 2nd our car is too small to fit the boxes and 3rd my mom can’t pick that up. So then my dad asked his freind to take them to the store with his big car. Then the right bunk bed arrived on Match 2 until then we were sleeping on the floor. I was told I would get my items the same week, then get a call stating "we're unable to deliver your items this week. Expect them next week". That's understandable. That's wasn't the issue. But then I get home and find a handwritten note, on a piece of a Dunkin Donuts paper bag, stating "Sorry we missed you. This Price Busters". I call the Edgewood store, who made the original phone call stating no delivery, and the word "unprofessional" doesn't even begin to describe the way this girl was on the phone. Yes girl. The girl was very rude, and had no customer service skills, yet claimed to be the Head of the Customer Service Dept. They took no ownership of their mixup, kept talking over me, and had the audacity to say, "it was supposed to be there today anyway". Did you forget your phone call from the day before??!!! Piss Poor. I will NEVER.....I repeat NEVER EVER purchase or suggest someone purchase ANYTHING from them. Someone was buying the furniture for me as a gift, and I wish they spent their money somewhere else. The Edgewood Store don't deserve the sale. WORST EVER. And it was paid in full at the time of purchase....
