Well, first of all, I will start by saying l think because I'm a female, the barber here got over on me. The sign says the kid's haircut is 25. Why is this barber charging me 30? Then he wanted 35 dollars for a 7-year-old shape-up. SHAPE UP!... YOUR HAIRCUT IS 25. HOW THE HELL is YOUR SHAPE UP 35? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. Talking about it's his prices. The owner with locs never wanted to cut my child's hair. He acted like he didn't want anything to do with me as a customer. This makes it so hard to support black businesses. They always act as if they didn't feel like cutting any of my kid's hair. To be honest, the haircuts were not that good and didn't even last 4 days. I was always respectful and nice when I walked into the shop, always made sure my two boys were respectful and considerate while in this shop, and I was treated like this. To the barbers🔈 after this review, you better cut hair like your life depends on it because I'm going to make sure this review lasts forever. I now take my two boys to the Dominicans🇩🇴 for a sharp, professional long lasting haircut in Rosedale Golden Ring shopping center by hip-hop Chicken. They are respectful considerate understanding and most importantly cut hair professionally good with...
Read moreI’ve been taking my two boys to Zay for the past 6 months. I was recommended to him by a coworker . He is a young barber . Takes his time , cuts always turn out amazing. Yes there is a wait if you don’t get the 1st appt , but I’ve grew to have patience here bc of how neat the shape ups are .
Very diverse barbershop . The master barber Nick seems to be able to cut all types of hairs.
We love the vibes here .. there’s always music going . The barbers converse , but it doesn’t take their attention away from their customers. Since living in Edgewood , this is the second barber we found … we found a home ! A little pricey , but again, the quality speaks...
Read moreI did NOT use this business bc I went there with my 3 yr old son, and tried to get his very first haircut. When I went in, there was no one in there. And then I noticed someone was sitting in the car out front, which was the barber. He finally came in, asked what we wanted and when I told him, he said my son wasn’t going to sit still for the trimmers. I explained that he more than likely will sit still but if we just need to do the trim, that’s fine. And then he walked back out to his car and had us waiting so we left. Not a good experience especially for my sons first hair cut ever. Very...
