Like other reviews say, the service is absolutely lousy. The only waitress (we were the only customers in the dining room at noon on a weekday) was largely absent. When the food was served after a 20 minute wait (probably why there was no lunch rush), it seemed like they brought what they felt like making. At first I was pleased because the plate had rice that was not included, and I didn't ask for, but I got refried beans instead of charro beans, and the burrito was chicken instead of beef. When I asked for the order to be corrected, I was brought back a plate with no rice, and the lousiest beef burrito I've ever had (on purpose?). So it would seem that they took off the rice for spite, and left off the cheese in the burrito and then burned it--I only took a couple of bites. I still didn't get my charro beans. The waitress (Latino) pretended she never heard of charro beans. I said that they are listed on the menu and that there was even a description. She just shrugged her shoulders and I told her that I would just eat what she served, and I that I had been warned about how terrible the service at this place is. The burrito itself was the tiniest I've ever seen (made with a taco tortilla). It was more like a burned Taco Bell Beef Rollup minus cheese. Nothing came with any kind of sauce or garnish (except my enchilada, which was actually good). There was no lettuce or tomato for the burrito as described. My partner's quesadilla did not come with the sour cream and pico de gallo that it was supposed to. The waitress brought the sour cream, but ignored the request for the pico de gallo. When I asked my partner if she wanted desert, she said, "not here".
The most irritating part was the waitress pretended not to understand anything we wanted. I thought everybody spoke "food", but I guess I was wrong. It's not like this restaurant was "authentic" and caters to a Latino crowd--it is right in front of a Motel 6, and has a bar and pool tables. The portions are tiny, and I left hungry. We will NEVER return to this terrible place, and we are always on the lookout for good...

Trio Tacos Platter (I order Chori Pollo) is AMAZING! 3 Tacos are overstuffed with flavorful meat & toppings. U can choose different meats but all 3 must be the same meat, no mixing. Not just a Tablespoon of meat in these babies!! They are awesomely STUFFED the way Tacos should be!! I get 2-layers Soft Corn tortillas. Yummy!
They will add Diced Cilantro to the Tacos & on the side if u ask.
Sides of Beans & Rice are both good. The Beans are thick & not runny like at other places nearby that taste like ur eating baby food mush or soupy beans. Rice is good.
The Chimichangas are really great too. Fried nicely u can request No Cheese & No Queso. Be sure to specify both deletes. The Red Sauce on top on the Chimichanga Platter is amazing & tastes delicious!!! Highly recommend this platter.
Salsa w Chips has just the right spicyness & Salsa is ALWAYS fresh. Also Not Runny or Watery - which is important if u luv Mexican.
The decor is spacious, not cramped, pretty window views, Mexican style & clean enuf but could use a touch of modernization. It is also on the cool side temp wise so bring a sweater.
Great location right off 95N & off Rts 24 & 543. Plenty of parking & centrally located. Easy to access.
Cant wait to try more food on their large menu. The servers are nice, patient & personable. They'll work with you if u have Special Dietary needs like me (Im Dairy & Lactose intolerant). The servers remember me when I visit & thats a great feeling! :)
Finally, I found a GREAT Mexican place (El Salvadoran cook/owners) that offers a huge menu, authentic preparation & customization for my diet needs that feels like home.
Whats not to love?!! Tacos Tijuana is a hidden gem. Try it for urself soon &...
Read moreWent in with my s/o and ordered Chicken Street Tacos w/rice and beans. My s/o asked for 2 long Island and the lady bought us a menu with some made up drinks on there, so we got the one called Adios Motherfux#er because it was a "long island" with a different name. We ordered 2 of them, and they were $18 a piece, the drinks were good but not worth $26 we've gone other places and gotten long Islands that you only needed 1 but got 2 for the price they are charging for 1. They used rail liquor so charging $18 is a bit much for me. However I understand, it's a small family owned restaurant. The rice was just ok this time and I didn't care for the beans. Overall service was good, drinks were average, food was pretty good. They do offer complimentary salsa and chips
My shrimp quesadilla was delicious, and the rice is always good. I have always gotten really good service here. I always do carry out and its never a long wait.
The street tacos are awesome as well I got those a few times. The proportions are always enough for me and 1 other and it's...
