Well well well, I'm officially embarrassed! I actually work out here in Harford County 2 to 3 times weekly, had this place bookmarked, read the wonderful Yelp reviews and I'm just visiting 2 years later! When I tell you this place was awesome, this place was awesome. Let me start at the beginning... I called in my order after reviewing the menu online and thank you Yelpers for posting the menu online. I chose the Curried Chicken Wings and the Chicken Soup. I've been feeling a little under the weather and I figured... Hey some homemade chicken soup would fair me well right, better! When I called the young lady that answered the phone was so kind and once I walked in restaurant, I was greeted with the same kindness by Justis. While I waited for my food, I was able to ask questions regarding other menu items as well as look at the beautiful décor throughout establishment. This restaurant was so clean and well laid out! When Justis packed my bag up she asked me if I needed a fork for my wings I said no, I'm driving so just napkins. In true Yelp fashion, as soon as I got in the car, I opened up the wings take a picture and had no choice but taste 1... those wings were so flavorful and I ended up eating 3 wings and that fork I previously declined after all. Next, I tried by soup! O the soup! So good! I'm already planning a date out here with my husband so that he can taste this will because he loves authentic Caribbean food and he really loves jerk chicken and they do have the white meat option for jerk take chicken meals so we're sold! I'm definitely looking forward to returning asap to try more items from their menu.

Returned 7/15/2020 & more than worthy of another review. During current COVID19 times, all safety percussions have been taken and there's a welcoming outdoor set up while using social distancing.

Another visit, another great experience. Today hubby wanted to take me on a date and I chose to travel 45 minutes to this place for greatness.

We were assisted by Di'Andra T who was perfect. Perfect attitude, professionalism, order accuracy and customer service.

We ordered the Jerk Chicken, Braised Oxtails and Rasta Pasta. Everything was cooked up perfection. Well seasoned, perfect temp and a lot of yumminess.

For beverages we ordered the Caribbean Sangria and Bob Marley!! So well crafted and smooth. We enjoyed nursing our beverages throughout our meal.

We've already made our plan to return back to try more menu greatness !! If you haven't visited this fantastic black owned business that always gets it right the 1st time, treat yourself !!

Ohhh, and make sure you sign up for their points club. You get points for food purchases they will score you all kinds of discounts on the bar future. I joined and used...

February 2022 was when I visited the restaurant. I told y'all I'm really playing catch up with my reviews.

I traveled over an hour to visit this establishment, as I saw an ad online for the restaurant. The food looked really good and I'm a sucker for a good meal! I took my sister for her birthday, and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Our server was Serena B. and she was super nice and friendly. She made recommendations from the menu as we explained it was our first time at the restaurant. The menu choices, I can't remember all the items, but I do remember there were some good choices.

I ordered the rasta pasta, which wasn't bad. I did need to add some salt, but not a lot. It was pretty good, not too spicy, but not too bland in flavor. Let me back up, I forgot, I did order an appetizer, the salmon nuggets. OMG, I know it was a long time ago, but sitting here typing, I remember how good they were! They were seasoned perfectly, fried to a perfection, and were drizzled with a honey sauce.

My sister ordered the jerk chicken wings, which I remembered were also good! Sometimes, jerk anything can be hit-or-miss, but these were hit! I'm looking at the pictures I took, and it looks as though my sister ordered the goat. The dish came with rice and beans and plaintains. From the photo, they look pretty good; however, I cannot remember if she was satisfied with her order. So, unfortunately, I cannot comment on the dish any further.

I really wish I would have made a review on this when it was fresh on my mind. That's on me. However, I do remember being quite satisfied with my menu choices, the urban chic decor made the vibe of the restuarant welcoming, the attentive and freiendly staff makes you want to return and enjoy a good meal. I highly recommend...

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!

If want Jamaican food at its finest you will have arrived at the right place. The chef is nothing short of excellent. I spend approximately $120.00 each time I come here which is twice every other week up until Saturday July 9th at 4:48 PM. I ordered two meals and one if them was the Red Snapper and I paid an additional fee to have it with Curry. Now there are a few ways in which they can prepare it but I requested curry and paid additional for it. When I recieved my meal which was $55.95 JUST FOR THE FISH, of course I expect to get what I paid for but did not! They brought my dish out and it was escovitch style and I questioned them why and showed them my receipt showing I paid for curry. I was told by the cashiers they didn't smell vinegar and it was curry as if any one who has had curry would not know how it would look, SMELL, and taste. A male employee took my meal back to the kitchen and returned quickly with some curry sauce poured over my fish and I was told the chef just forgot to add it. I told them to not worry about it and just return what I paid in addition to have my food prepared as requested but that did not happen. Extremely poor customer service! if younwrong you wrong, no problem cause i wasn't angry, just dont lie to my face. I will never return there and have spread the word to all my friends. If you value your money you will avoid them too, but if you risk it and all goes well for you, the food is really good...as I said great food, but if you order is not correct it will not be corrected....not...
