UPDATE in response to the owner: It should not be a customer’s responsibility to keep track of the appointments. I had specified my name, appointment time, and who I was supposed to be with upon arrival. There is no excuse to blame your customers for your actions.
Secondly, I do not often get my nails done due to my line of work. This is the first time I have gotten any specialty manicures, so it should not be up to me to know what is acrylic and what is gel-x. This is especially so since your employee did not respond to me at all throughout the appointment when I had concerns.
Additionally, it is ridiculous the text messages I received from the employees during my wedding weekend for their faults. I would not wish that upon anyone.
In regards to the refunds, they ONLY refunded the tip when I requested a full refund including the tip. Again, this was my wedding weekend and I had no time to return to a place that made such a large error. So, there should be exceptions to provide refunds for services that were incorrect and poorly done.
Shame on you guys for the way you have treated me and handled the situation.

Read moreUpdate: shortly after I left a review I received a text from someone at the salon. They were very kind and apologetic about my service and offered to do my nails again free of charge. I took up the offer and can confidently say I am pleased with how they look~ I’m aware gel may not last as long as builder gel. I’ve just never had experience with chipping and lifting so soon. I’ve been blessed to have gel last as long as two months with no scratch. But then again, all things have their flaws ;) I like trying new things, especially when it comes to the beauty industry as someone who’s in it— so I thought I’d take a step out of the salon I usually go to and explore and support other businesses. Thank you again for fixing my nails!
Old review with photos: I got my nails done on 5/17 and it’s only been 3 days and my nails are already lifting and chipping :( my nails are also poorly shaped, lopsided, and jagged. My cuticles weren’t even trimmed either and I believe that is included in a manicure. The polish also isn’t close to my cuticles so it looks like my nails are already two weeks grown out. The French tips are all different sizes and not clean looking. I’m so disappointed and sad with my service. I was looking forward to a good manicure since it has 4.9 stars. The guy who did my nails seemed really rushed too as it only took him 10 minutes to do my nails. My appointment was at 5:15 and I was in my car leaving the parking lot by 5:30. Read moreI was really disappointed with my experience at this nail salon. First, the location is upstairs and a little tricky to find—there’s no clear signage, which made arriving more stressful than it needed to be.
The salon was extremely busy, and everything felt rushed. I just came in for a basic fill, but even that felt like I was being moved through as quickly as possible. What stood out most was that the hand stations weren’t wiped down or sanitized between clients and tools were being reused from one client to the next. This is very concerning given how many people they cycle through.
Another red flag: when paying in cash (not just the tip), they put the money directly into their pockets. It came off as unprofessional and made me feel uneasy.
The prices are also very high for what you get. I was charged $15 for chrome powder that took less than a minute to apply with an eyeshadow applicator, and another $15 for a quick spray-over color—again, done in under a minute. I spent over $100 with tip for a basic fill and was in and out in under an hour.
For that price, I expected better cleanliness, more attention to detail, and a more professional environment. I gave it a 2 star rather than 1 star because my tech was friendly and I genuinely feel bad about a leaving negative review but given the whole experience I won’t be returning.
