Aquilar Meat Market in the Edinburg, Tx., has real good sirloin fajita meat. However, when they run out of sirloin fajita, the employee's will start promoting the regular fajita, as equivalent to sirloin fajita. I just got back from speaking to the Store Director. I should of gotten the name of the Store Director, but I spoke to the wrong person in charge. After sharing with the Store Director about my bad experience with purchasing chewy and leathery quality fajita meat, The Store Director question was: "Why did you not bring the meat back with you" ? I guess the store director expected me to keep cooked leathery bbq meat in my fridge. I had already spoken to a Store Manager (Kevin) and Kevin had agreed to refund the cost of the fajita. "Big mistake in talking with the Store Director"... The Store Director did not honor my refund. I went to Aquilar Meat Market (Edinburg, Tx.) personally and thought that by talking to the Store Director, I would be refunded the cost of the chewy leathery fajita. To no avail ! At HEB or Walmart, you will never be questioned, or better yet, doubted. Big chain stores have way better trained customer service agents. Larger budget, affords better educational training. As for me Aquilar Meat Market (Edinburg, Tx.) has a horrible management/director program. Do not even consider returning and or complaining about the meat. I was sold regular fajita, when I was led to believe the fajita was sirloin in quality. If you like Aquilar Meat Market (Edinburg, Tx.) "Do not even consider returning an item or complaining"..... Speak to any one else except the Store Director.. Your complaint/concern will not even be considered. .. The Store Director will make you feel bad about yourself for complaining. I am rating the Store Director with a 1 Star. Because the post requires a star to post. Otherwise; I am rating the Store Director with a Zero ! Return an item at HEB or Walmart, as long as you have proof of purchase. No problem ! They should make Kevin the Store Director ! Kevin has the ability to connect with the customers. I am rating the Store Director with Zero Stars ! I should have gotten his name. I really hope the owners, and administration staff gets to see this review. I was sold regular fajita and the fajita was being promoted as equivalent and the same as Sirloin Fajita. It was leathery and chewy, the fajita ended up in the trash after serving my guest. What...
Read moreBest meat market in South Texas. Huge variety of meats to grill, smoke, fry, or whatever you fancy. All kinds of seasoned and unseasoned fajitas, steaks, chicken, brisket, pork belly and more. Aguilar's is always the secret weapon that wows at the BBQ cookouts. "How did you make this so delicious?!" 😉🤫 They run different deals daily and weekly, which always makes them worth checking out first. You can get everything you need, including rice, beans, produce, chips and more. Usually it's best feature is the meats as the sides and other ingredients run a bit more pricey than HEB or neighborhood Walmart. But that's okay. The meat is all you need here! Will continue to recommend this place down the road and keep...

I was hoping for a more personalized experience, but unfortunately, I felt like my concerns were overlooked. I recommend a book on time management for Chris seeing he may need a little help but there was no follow-up or engagement regarding it. The overall communication felt impersonal, and at times, I got the sense that the focus was more on making a sale than genuinely supporting the customer’s needs. I hope this feedback helps in improving customer care and follow-up in the future. I am a loyal customers just speaking my mind and would hate for others to...
