Pretty pissed. My husband and I went to IHOP with the intention to use our "Any Breakfast Combo" coupon with our IHOP rewards. The coupon would have let us redeem any combo for free. Or that's what we thought at least. Turns out that IHOP was false advertising. Not only could we not use the coupon on a limited-time combo (we were NOT told this, and it does not specify this in the app either) but we couldn't use it on our omelete either. Why have a coupon called "FREE BREAKFAST COMBO" when you cannot, in fact, get any free breakfast combo? Again, false advertising. On top of that, the manager refused to comp out one of our meals when being told about the situation.    Read moreI placed a to-go order at 11:04am 11/6/24 When I went to pick up my order around 11:20am the greeter pointed to me and very rudely asked âhow manyâ not even a âhello or how can I help youâ I responded âI came to pick up a to-go orderâ she again rudely asked âunder what name.â She proceeded to the back to check on the order and after about a minute, came back saying that there was no order under my name (which is not the first time this happens). She then questioned âJennyâ if she was the one that took my phone order. I then made the comment âyour voice sounds familiar I think I spoke with you over the phoneâ to which she rudely responded âno it wasnât meâ then Karla the girl that took my order came and said she placed it under a different variation of my name and proceeded to get my order. In the interim of waiting, Jenny was training another employee and never acknowledged me standing in front of her waiting to pay. When Karla came out with the order she asked Jenny if she had taken my payment to which Jenny responded with attitude âno I didnât take her payment and proceeded to bicker towards Karla blaming me for accusing her of taking my order when I had just simply asked. Very poor customer service starting from the greeter and Jenny. Obviously management has done nothing regarding the customer service of there employees, seeing other google reviews that mention Jenny and staff.    Read moreI recently dined and received a rather disappointing experience. I found their lack of accommodations for families with young children quite troubling. When we requested a seat for my baby, the waitress informed us that there were no available seats in the restaurant. Despite the relatively empty establishment, we struggled to enjoy our meal while juggling the task of feeding our child, as he couldn't even see or reach his food at eye level. As a result, my food grew cold. What made this experience even more frustrating was the fact that there weren't many patrons in the restaurant, and there were even fewer children in need of the same type of seating we had requested.
To make matters worse, we didn't receive the items we had requested, including a side of strawberries. When the strawberries finally arrived towards the end of our meals, it was a meager portion of only 5-7 thin slices of a single strawberry. Additionally, we were promised sugar for our coffee, but it only arrived after we had finished our meal.
I did express my concerns about these inconveniences, but it seemed as though the staff was unresponsive or indifferent to our feedback. Overall, I left feeling frustrated and disappointed by the lack of attention to detail and customer service.
