El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in Edinburg

Today is November 1st I arrived at the restaurant through the drive-thru at about 9:50 and ordered probably at 9:51. Someone actually took my order and it was not an automated system like the worker was saying because they asked for my drink I told them the sides I wanted what sizes and they gave me the total and everything. I had waited about 15 minutes in line because there was cars in front of me. As soon as I got up to the window an older woman and a younger lady told me they were closed and they couldn't accept any more orders. I told them I ordered basically 20 minutes ago before 10:00 and they rebuttaled saying it's an automated system taking the orders even though it was an actual person taking my order because they asked for my drink they knew the size of the sides I asked for and what burrito I wanted with a total as well. I told the lady that was the rudest thing I've ever seen and I'll never do business here again just because of that. I understand they close at 10:00 and they need to do closing chores, but if a customer orders before closing waits in line 20 mins after closing time you can't refuse to serve them especially after you take their order. Messed up part is that cars in front of me all got their order and roughly ordered basically around the same time 9:48-9:51 pm. They all got their food I was the only one that ordered and was refused service. If I was the owner I would fire the old woman and young lady who were working the window tonight for costing me money paying their hourly wage while getting diminishing returns of or myself because they threw a $25 dollar sell just to go home early. I'm sure this happens often since it seemed so normal to them bet this place is losing...

Went on Sunday and spent $35.00. When I took my order home we saw that the meat was VERY DRY, it must have been sitting there for quite awhile. I live 15 miles away! When I called to complain the manager Priscilla was very unhelpful. First she hung up on me and then when I finally told her what was wrong she gave me the corporate office number. I was not going to go back and waste gas for another order the same day. She said that was all she could do. I left my name and number for the general manager to call me on Monday and she never did. I called and spoke to Celia the general manager and she said she would be in on Wednesday and give me an eight piece family deal with rice and beans. I called today and she was not there and another manager named Viloa said she would have my order ready. When my husband got down and said he was there to pick up my order he was met with the angriest employees, they were all scowling. Then they all went to the back and were joking and laughing ay my husband. They did not even apoogize! When he got to the vehicle he told me what happened. Not only that, they only gave us chicken and no rice and beans. Since we complained I am wondering if they did something to the chicken. Needless to say we are never going back there again. I enjoy the chicken here it's very flavorful and I just like how they cook it in the grill I like everything they gave you the pick delicious gallon and I like how they have a catering service but the price is hefty in their if you plant to eat as in family it will cost you a lot because the chicken is expensive but I guess that's what you get because you get good quality chicken in their the building is clean and restroom is clean also friendly staff and they help you out if they have any promotions in the moment the place has this open view of the kitchen where you could see their cooking the chicken so it gives you an idea of how they cooking your food and gives you a peace of mind where you could see if their messing with your food or not the place does get full in lunchtime and their drive thru it's very good because sometimes you just want to get their and leave quick for your lunch break and that's a good thing but you are next to a lot of traffic but good place overall to eat not with family cause...
