My sister knows nothing about farm animals. She wanted some hens and went here. The person selling the chick's to her swore left and right they where female chick's. Wrong. They're roosters now!! And I don't think identifying as hens here counts!! Please if you don't know. Go somewhere else. Clearly all they want is to sell and don't care about your needs!! These are the "hens" now 🙄 UPDATE Owner replied saying they order females from a hatchery but sometimes roosters come in and since they are newborns they don't know how to sex them??? This makes ZERO sense. I Order mine from big hatcheries, ones that stock up tractor supply. And NEVER have I EVER had a the wrong sex in my Chicks! It is also unethical practice to sell newborns, they have to be atleast 2 days old and they can be sexed that younge except some breeds like bantams and some silkies. Nice try trying to fool someone. If you don't know how to sex simple chicks then I don't know why you're even in this business other than to mislead your customers into buying something they don't need, distressing them, waste their time and money! I hope all your customers see this post and leave. Deceiving people the way you do is DISGUSTING. I had to help my innocent sister rehome the roosters and you ruined the experience of having her own hens that she doesn't even want to have new ones. Bought baby chicks on Monday July 24 it is now Thursday July 27 and one of the chicks is dead. They inform me that there is no return on dead chicks. I know chicks are sensitive and I have had chickens before but if it died so quick it must have already been sick. Their dog food cleared up a skin condition my dog had and their prices are some of the best in town.
