Jessie altered my wedding dress for our wedding on August 23rd. From the beginning, Jessie took the time to understand what I was looking for and explain what changes were to be made. Originally, our wedding was going to be on May 29th. I met with Jessie to go over the changes. Once the pandemic hit, we were considering keeping the original date or postponing. We finally decided to postpone and I scheduled two more fittings later on. However, since my larger wedding now became an outdoor microwedding, I realized on my last fitting that the chapel train was too much for the scaled down event. Jessie was able to change my chapel train to a court train within a short timeframe. The dress came out beautiful and I felt more comfortable moving around on the day of the wedding. My husband also had Jessie alter his wedding suit. He was very happy with his suit as well. Jessie was very accommodating with both of us and was flexible with making changes as needed. I had my wedding dress altered at Ian’s Bridal last August. This was the 3rd place I visited to get fitted then to decide on where to get the dress altered. From the moment I walked in the shop I felt right at home. Jess was so professional, warm and kind. She immediately understood my desire to look beautiful yet comfortable. She got to work, moving quickly began the alteration process showing me the necessary tucks with pins and markers, the dress would require while making suggestions on how best the get it done and timeline required including fittings. She delivered the dress as planned. Alterations cost was reasonable and quality of work superior! Needless to say I looked amazing, received so many compliments from my husband and guests! I don’t even know where to start. I’m naturally a very worried and anxious person. I met with Jessie about 3 months prior to my wedding day. I can’t compare her skills to anyone I’ve ever met. She’s truly a perfectionist. I’m a perfectionist myself and she made sure I left her store every time 110% happy with changes we were making. I can’t say she made alterations to my dress, she more like re-designed the dress for me, to my liking, and to my standards.
