We were looking for someone to make a cosplay costume. Also limited time period. Made several phone calls with no luck. No one was interested in custom cosplay. I found Joy's Tailoring Boutique. Joy fitted and measured my daughter and designed her cosplay exactly how she wanted it. The dress came out absolutely stunning. She had a character picture to go by. Many people complimented her outfit that was created by Joy. By the way the light green dress on this site was my daughters. No way could my mother and I make this dress for my daughter. Joy listened to my daughters instructions and requests. The dress was done before the deadline, which was promised. We highly recommend her!! Joy is a professional and meticulous about her work. I have gone to joy’s for years but recently the quality of the work has gone downhill to the point we cannot wear her tailored pieces out without noticeable flaws. I asked for a basic hemming of a skirt and she has created a very noticeable crease at the hemline. The worst part of the experience is that when I pointed out the poor handiwork she got defensive and told me I was just trying to find fault and she did nothing wrong. (See pictures for noticeable hemline). My husband had an issue where his suit was ruined but she continually denied any wrongdoing and said he must have ruined it himself. This tailoring boutique is absolutely amazing!!! The pink dress is the before picture. This is the same size as the green dress. Notice how the top does not fit me well at all. The green dress is the after picture, after Joy took the dress in on the sides, fixed the straps, added padding, and added a seam in the bust so that the dress fits me better.

After the tailoring, the dress really fits like a glove!!! I was so nervous about this dress but I trusted Joy right away. It's now so perfect and beautiful. I highly recommend this tailor for any and all of your...
