Bob's Garden Center — Local services in Egg Harbor Township

Our experience at Bob's says a lot about the special people who work there. We visited for the first time looking for Christmas decorations, and were just wowed by all the beautiful displays. Every single employee we saw looked genuinely happy to be there, and eager to help every time we had a question.

We found lots of treasures, and would have accidentally gone home without one if it hadn't been for a very special employee named Nancy. Because she had enrolled us in their customer rewards program, she took the time (on a very busy night) to track us down and let us know we left one of our purchases behind in a shopping cart.

We came back again the next weekend. Even though she was no longer dressed like a resident of Whoville, we recognized Nancy at the checkout counter (she didn't just remember me.. she remembered my name!) Was very interested in coming to Bob’s Garden for the first time to look at what plants they had available, while also stopping at my favorite coffee truck that was there for the day. I thought it was okay to get a coffee while I finished looking. I did not know where the truck was, so I thought I’d ask the worker. Well, when I walked up to her, I overheard her talking to her coworker stating, “I don’t think we should be doing this anymore as people are taking up our parking for the lattes.” I then felt guilty walking around as I wanted to buy a coffee as well. We visited Bobs on the way back up north from Atlantic City based on the great reviews online. We are glad we made the stop! Bob's is massive and sells any and everything garden related; plants, patio furniture, pots, soil, garden tools, and lots of garden/wall decor. Their selection is simply unmatches to anything I've seen in NY and NJ. Their selection of indoor plants (and outdoor plants) is huge. Everything seemed to be very well cared for. Plants look very helthy. While walking throughout the store, I noticed lots of employees watering and tending to the plants.
