If you have a pet look elsewhere. They charge you for pets. Not only do they not have a dog park, that they claim to have, what they refer to as a dog park is a non-fenced dirty area with glass and rebar (see photos)from the nearby construction area. They also have very little grass to walk your dogs on (see photos) Half the time they are out of dog bags, not sure what the upcharge is for?? When I mentioned the dog park had no fence on one end the manager stated that I should be able to control my dogs. My dogs actually have good recall, but since there are ground squirrels and rabbits, all bets are off. I spoke to another guest who didn't notice the lack of fence and found out when she let her dogs out she had to round them up, she also complained. I also asked him why the people booking the rv park were still saying they had a dog park. He said that wasn't his problem. He did give us the gate code to a sister park down the road, it was also filthy and too small for my dogs. There was also a hole in the fence. There are 7 washers and 8 dryers when we arrived 4 of the washers didn't work. 3 were fixed within 2 weeks, but that isn't enough for the entire park. The gym was good. The grounds for the most part were clean except for dog droppings. I'm guessing some guests figured if they are paying 25-30 a month extra per dog and they couldn't find dog bags so why should they pick up. Road noise, wow just wow. Sirens and traffic from the freeway were a constant 24 hour backdrop. The sites are tight and how they squeeze some of those big rigs in there I will never know. The person who took our reservation also told us that we could have mail sent there, just put our name and our site#. If you do this your mail will be returned to sender. So much for that Christmas card. After that we figured out how that worked. The people who worked there at the front desk and maintenance were very nice and accommodating. This place is just sad. I feel bad for people who are stuck here long term. There are other parks in the area for the same price. Check out Santee Lakes or some...
Read moreItâs a very quaint and quiet trailer park. DISCLAIMER: ((They will provide picnic tables for your site, as well as recycling cans upon asking. They are decently loose about spot reservations. If someone is IN YOUR SPOT UPON ARRIVAL, they will not move that person. If there is another spot available they will redirect you. It is a first come first serve system even though they have âreservations.â Same situation if there is a jerk that has parked their car in your empty spot. You will be moved to a different spot.)) There are plenty of kids around here all the time, and not many weird characters. Thereâs a gym, a yoga/wellness room, bathroom with 3 showers one of which is handicap accessible, and two lounge rooms, one next to the POOL, that is used for holidays and other events. The pool area is also equipped with two Webber grills. And there is the room up stairs with two pool tables. Dogs are allowed, I donât believe they have any rules against any specific breeds, although I could be wrong. There are plenty of pet relief turf patches throughout the park, along with an adorable pet park in the north east corner. This park is in the vicinity of many great places to eat, and many decently priced gas stations. There are all sorts of Cafes, pizza places, Italian eats and Chinese alike. Even if the crime in the surrounding area is constant, we donât hear or see much of anything outside of circle RV that is of any threat, especially since itâs a gated community locked by a code. Youâll likely just hear a lot of sirens and see a lot of helicopters circling.đ The only downfall of this place is how dang expensive it is to do laundry at their facility. And if youâre unlucky enough to get one of the spots directly next to the freeway, you will be lulled to sleep by Peterbuilt and International alike. But either way, the freeway noise can be heard from any space in the park so be prepared. Of the two trailer parks off of East Main here in El Cajon, Circle RV is FAR superior. Even if they are owned by the...
Read moreThis is the worst managed RV park that I have EVER stayed at. I seriously hope the owner, Sunland RV, does a thorough reflection of this property. We stayed here for 1 month this summer. The rate was $1000/month plus electric and a $250 security deposit. The first week we stayed here my credit card was charged $3000. We had to call and go in to the office repeatedly to ask for a refund. After another week of complaining, we were refunded $1000 of the $2000 we were owed, and told that the remaining $1000 would be held on to and refunded after we departed at the end of the month. This was completely unacceptable because we had already paid a security deposit! After another week of trying to get that remaining money back, we were refunded most of it back, minus $60 for a week of electric. Keep in mind, we were out of town that first week and not using A/C or water heater, and our electric is usually around $100/month. The final 3 weeks we stayed here, running A/C and water heater the entire time our electric was $113. Unfortunately we were never allowed to see the meter readings, so we cannot be sure who's electric bill we were paying that first week but it is extremely suspect. They day we left, we were told the $250 security deposit would be refunded in a couple days, minus the $113 for electric. After 5 days we called again. Then again after a week, 10 days, etc. At the two week mark were pretty upset. The ladies that work the front desk apparently don't have the ability to give refunds, only the manager Jim. We were never able to talk to Jim the manager over that month of being overcharged and being refused refunds, until the very end when we lost our temper. He did finally call us to refund the security deposit, but was pretty sarcastic about the whole situation. Needless to say, we will never stay at a Sunland RV property again, and wouldn't recommend Circle RV even if it were...
