Came here around 6:30 pm on a Friday night. First it's obviously under staffed. Not impressed with businesses under staffing on a popular night. The two employees in there were rushing around trying to do everything. I felt rushed as well. The guy who helped me was much shorter than the window so not only could I not hear him but he couldn't hear me. This was accompanied by extremely loud music. So unless I yell he can't hear me and he made no attempt to speak louder or try to remedy the awful communication. I told him the music was very loud. He just says "sorry " um okay. How about TURN IT DOWN. I think if these employees had help or perhaps a supervisor there. This would of been a better visit. I have gone to several subways before and this was the absolute worst experience. I do have to say though this isn't the only location under staffed I feel this is a form of greed and maybe how subway runs their locations. Under staffed but makes tons of money. I think it will have to be Jersey mikes from now on. They are more expensive but expense is worth the experience....
Read moreI've been getting my Subway sandwiches 2-3 times per week from the El Cajon, CA location on 1770 East Main, for about the past two years. The service provided by the store manager there (Desiree) is the specific reason for that, as she has been consistently outstanding in every way! She has always been pleasant, patient, speedy, and knowledgeable. In my opinion, she demonstrates such a high level of competence, consistency and professionalism that it naturally inspires one to continue being a "repeat" customer at this particular location! Finally, just to add, I always get the "Veggie Wrap"...
