Reply 6/15/24 - The original purchase was for a dining table with six chairs and a server. Several days later we return to purchase an additional 2 chairs. The two chairs is the refunded check you claim. Two weeks after the refund for the chairs, your delivery department was trying to schedule the delivery for them which we declined since they were refunded.
The original purchase of $2700 which was charge included a server. It’s nearly six months now and the server which was paid for has yet not been delivered or refunded.
When the delivery personnel inform us that 2 chairs and the server were not being delivered. We immediately called Moe which asked to give him two days to get us a date for the items to be delivered. After the two days, Moe notified us that the server was on backorder and it would take 8-12 weeks. We inform Moe to come and pickup the unused furniture and give us a full refund since we did not care to wait 8-12 weeks. Don’t guarantee all items will be deliver at one time when they are not. This is a bad practice and a way to tie down customers with a purchase.
Look at your other one star reviews, they report similar experiences to ours.
Original post- It surprises me to see so many positive experiences. Unfortunately, my experience is similar to others in which the feeling of being scammed is the primary frustration. I agree you walk in and are immediately greeted by what you expect to be professional individuals. My salesperson, Moe, who claimed to be a partner, made promises he could not fulfill. He decided not to let me know that the dining set I purchased for a little over $2700 would be incomplete upon delivery and would have to wait three months for the delivery. Upon delivery of partial furniture, the delivery team informed me of this. I contacted my salesperson, who stated he could not do a refund. I made the purchase in late January, and to this date, I have not yet received a refund or the rest of my furniture. I am currently disputing this purchase with the creditors. If no resolution comes, I, too, will be looking into filing a small claim. I do not recommend this place. I have dealt with other independent furniture stores and have never had a horrible experience like the one I am having now. I noticed the owner responded to some reviews; I hope the owner(s) reach out to find a solution.
