Booking this hotel was sort of our last ditch effort to just find a decent place to stay. In all my years of travel, I must say this place by the worst. The bed sheets had red stains on them. Not sure what It was. So we just slept on top of the comforter. The lamp was missing the bulb. Both night stands on either side of our bed had 2 outlets each. They didn't work. Turns out the night stand it's self wasn't plugged in. The outlet for our room's HVAC unit was hanging out of the wall. The door to enter the room had a gap so large that you could fit your fingers through. There were holes in the wall from what looked to be anchor points from a previous hanging structure like a mirror or something. The bathroom was decent and looked to be recently renovated. However there were a few tiles in the tub/Shower combo that were sticking out leaving some sharp edges. This could be a hazard. Although it's easy to avoid them. I could not sleep well as the gap under the door was alloying a lot of noise to intrude into the room. And for some odd reason there was a person and/or or a group of people talking loudly either to each other or on the phone. Right outside the door of the room untill 2 am. It was strange. The smoke alarm had a dead battery so somebody just simply opened the battery cover which is the only way to keep the smoke alarm from beeping. Which also turns off the smoke alarm. I don't recommend this place. I should have done far more research of not only this hotel but the area as well.

Ok so this stay has been a little different, I usually visit El Centro once every few months but this time I came the 1st room I got was upstairs and was clean, no problems at all, but I needed to extended my stay so they ended up moving me to a SMOKING room downstairs… I took a nap and ended up waking up to a bed bug or whatever bug that is next to me 🤢🤮🤮 I told the front desk, instead of switching my room they just remade the bed up like remaking a bed is going to get rid of anything 🙄. So I ignored it because I just said whatever I’ll sleep in the chair I’m leaving tomorrow anyways, well it’s 12:07 am and I have seen about 5 roaches come in from the door crack. This is so disgusting!!!! Idk if I’ll ever stay here again it’s not how it use to be if I see more roaches I will take pics and add them so everyone knows exactly what I went thru. Your best bet is to get a room upstairs, they want so much money but can’t even keep the rooms or property up to par. Oh and the floors dirty af !!!! 🤮🤮 I was only walking on them barefoot for 10 mins.

Located in a pretty busy area and lots of grocery and shopping opportunities. That’s one of the stars. The second star is for the friendliness of the staff. They were kind and speedy and efficient. I deducted 3 stars because the first room we got smelled horrible (like maybe someone died and they tried to cover it up with lots of fabuloso) and the floor was very dirty. So we were switched to another room. It smelled normal but the floor was very dirty (we didn’t take off our shoes) and there were random dirty spots on the walls and shower curtain. I have not checked a room for bugs in a long time but this one made me want to make sure. The beds were clean and it kind of looked like they were slowly trying to renovate because the tile did look new in the bathroom.

We are here for work. Our company booked These rooms because the other ones were booked . it seems like a lot of construction workers come to this place . the rooms are very dirty the walls are stained . My bed had a big stain circle on it. i called the front desk to tell him that my sheets were dirty they said that they were going to go and exchange them they never did. We stayed for a week here every day they change the sheets but the just use the same ones the same stain she was the one kept on getting every week. They don't change the new sheets they just redo your bad that's all. The bathrooms were dirty cracks here and there are stains on the sync and the bathtub. The location is convenient since year around walmart costco and other stores. The rooms are small since our company booked two people four one room with two beds. The parking lot its mall when there are construction workers their vehicles take more of the spots support with there big trucks. We will tell our company not to book here again or try somewhere else honestly you're better off at motel 6 they're rooms are a lot cleaner. Also there is a 7-11 next door and homeless people are there and they do tend to wander into the parking lot looking in people's cars. Also A coworker in another room found dead cockroaches on the floor. Also the towels that you use to shower our stained may need to replace the ones that the can't get rid of the dark stains and get fresh new white towels because honestly that is nasty taking a shower with white towels that are stained. The washing machine is next to the ice machine I will not use that ice machine it looks very dirty like the ice would be contaminated maybe it's good to you to keep your stuff cool but other than that it looks dirty not...

Completely unimpressed.

The bad: The room smelled like it had previously been a smoking room. The phone wasn't functional because there wasn't even an available phone jack in the wall. The TV got no channels at all. Water damage repairs were visible in the shower. Shower head so high that by the time the water hit you, it was already cooling, weak pressure with no real ability to control the temperature beyond the mid-ranges (warm and cool, no hot or cold). The door did not seem sturdy. Cops stopped someone right off the property. Nutty shirtless white guy decided to pretend he was some rapper giving a concert right outside the room at 1:30 AM. Not a good neighborhood. The breakfast was disappointing with anemic bacon, only hard-boiled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit cups, etc.

The good: The room and sheets seemed clean, no bedbugs, no roaches. While I was worried about the neighborhood, my car was not broken into. The morning check out lady was pleasant. This is one of the few motels near Holtville that has a late night...
