George's Produce — Local services in El Monte

It was very pleasant... I went to get Mint Leaves and they are very helpful. They run out of the mint leaves so I was thinking they didn't had any. So I pick other vegetables since they have very good prices but I still ask one of the gentleman that was working there if they had any and he said Yes but he check in the front where there were supposed to be And I guess they run out since it was close to 5pm but he went right away to the back to grab me a bunch very green very fresh.. all I can say that their prices are very good And their products are very fresh. They closed Sundays and Mondays but they are open all the other days in till 6pm Saturday in till 5pm. I can't remember I what time they told me they were open but it was super early I believe it was 6 a.m. in the morning or 9 not sure. Anyway mi Gente I do...

I use to like coming here until I was chased out by a Tall rude lady that stated she was the owner while scolding me like a child. There were not enough baskets so I placed(in an organized manner) my stuff down on some items with the intent of leaving things how they were prior to putting my things down. I stated that as she proceeded to pick up my items and throw them all over to demonstrate according to her the mess I made. I kept my cool while letting her know that’s not proper customer service as she kept ranting a raving putting on a show then stormed off to the back and sent her bodyguard to scare me off. Awful experience never again. She should worry more about removing all the expired...

I walked into Georges produce the other day and had a conversation with a gentleman who shared his mission in providing low cost food for our community that is affordable while still having the heart for charitable contributions. The community should support businesses who's business modo is to never stop helping one another. Their unique products make walking through their store intriguing as you don't always see these groceries at the big box stores. With items as low as $1.00 including some vegetables and fruit, it's perfect to pick up these raw products that are close to their rippen date to use for juicing and or baking. Stop by one day and I'm sure you will find something unique that will...
