Late lunch into 530pm daily! Weekendso near high noon there will be wait. Prices are on the inexpenssive side for lunch as long as you stay with the lunch menu. Seasonal specials on the wall but unless you do well in written Chinese, you'll miss it. Decors are simple, utensils are basic. Cleanness average. Good size orders, most people end up with left overs. General rule for most Chinese joints, avoid them when the weather was hot for days as kitchens and food would be prime for spoilage. I had not had a bad experience there or bad entrée except today. I got an edgy order of "yellow hair chicken". Maybe I am a stickler on chicken, half my order was beyond my acceptable freshness index. It is a dinner menu item so maybe like I said, should have stuck with the lunch menu. One weird and outstanding trait is a small "victory garden" on the side visible. Not sure why, but there are vegetable and herbs grown there. First time there the glass to the garden was clean, now it's a bit crusty from the hard water and mud spatter.

Update: Went there on a Feb cold spell and the princess chicken was great on a take out order. However, recent orders to go wait time is 50-65 minutes at least despite assurance of 30 minutes. Prices went up like all else but the quality remains. Dine in was not as crowded as before as I stood there several occasions waiting for my to go for half an hour at a time. I visited this restaurant several times with my co-worker and enjoyed eating there. I decided to have a meal here as the last event of a few days trip with my in-laws visiting from my hometown to get the Local experience and drove close to 2 hours to visit. However, the end of a pleasant trip for several days was completely broken by visiting this restaurant. When we arrived, only a few tables had patrons and were mostly empty, but after about 30 minutes, All tables were full. I finished our order earlier than any other table, but the food came out late, and I saw that the same menu I ordered was served first to the table of the customer who came later than us. But I still waited for our food because I cannot express my emotion in front of my family. Ordered foods keep came out late one by one. The table next to us that came later has already finished eating and left. And I couldn't stand it when I saw that the new customers who had just arrived at the table next to us were served the same menu that I were waiting for. It was unacceptable that not even half of the menu was served over an hour. We canceled the food that was not served and left the restaurant. Restaurant is not very accommodating for non Chinese people. We were the only non asian family in the restaurant. We noticed that two Chinese families who could speak Chinese where seated and immediately had orders taken as we waited about 20min for a waiter to come to our table. He barely was able to understand English, which isn't a problem normally. We had no idea of the portion sizes so we ordered 4 things w 2 appetizers. Again we noticed that families that came in after us who spoke Chinese got their food and drinks before us. Our food came out about 15min apart. No description of the plate just dropped on the table and walked away. Disappointed you really are made to feel like an outsider here. The food was ok and seemed just not as well plated as other around us. Waiter never came to our table to check on us had to get up and ask for boxes and check. Just super disappointing waiters attitude was pure irritation at having to deal with English speaking non Chinese.
