Bear Fruit Bowls and Coffee — Local services in Elberta

UPDATED: They handled this situation with kindness and understanding. We have always gone to the downtown location and every experience we have had with them has been very enjoyable, the service is great, the people are kind, and the bowls are some of our favorites. Their coffee is also some of my favorite in the area. It is a go to spot when we are in town visiting family and it will continue to be! Highly recommend!!!

We ordered at the wrong location and noticed almost immediately, maybe 5 minutes, we called to cancel and the gentleman that answered was very kind and said it was no worries and he would cancel. A few days later I saw I was still charged for the bowls we did not end up getting, when I called they said they would not refund us because they didn’t catch at the time of the call that the bowls were already made (if we knew this at the time we would have just drove out to that location to get our bowls). When I asked to speak with a manager to see how to resolve the situation they hung up on me, did not answer when I called back, then disconnected their phone. I love their bowls and have given plenty of business to them over the years, but this situation is simply just rude. Had a quick getaway and visited this place 3x because it was just so good! The first 2 were normal vacay days, the 3rd time was on our way out to head back home after learning our dog had died suddenly. They were SO kind - a wave of grief rolled over me as I stood in line and I started to cry right as it was my turn to order. I felt so bad but explained I had just learned my dog had died and I couldn’t help the tears. I went to pay and they wouldn’t let me - just told me to get home safely and they were so sorry about my dog. Loved to come here! Today I was there and the girl who helped me was condescending to me. When I asked to put my granola at the bottom of my husband’s bowl (which we have DONE many times there), she said that all their bowl toppings are on top of the Açaí!!! What is the difference? I will pay more to have the granola where I want! Also asked for less Açaí on my bowl and she just ignored me!!!
