I wll NO longer shop Tractor Supply!
I ordered online to pick up in store. I received an email stating my order was delivered to TSC in Elizabethtown, NC. When I arrived there was NO cashier in sight. When the cashier finally arrived I told him why I was there. He went to where the item was kept on the floor. I informed him my order should be in the back marked for me. IT WAS NOT. So we waited for the Manager-On-Duty who was outside talking. After I questioned if the M-O-D was talking to a customer, the cashier went outside to talk to her. He came back in and gave me the floor stock, which was actually 'my special order'. He was very apologetic about the mistake that was made, which I appreciated, but it wasn't his fault. I spoke to the M-O-D who also apologized. This did not help nor did it answer my questions as to why this happened. This was an early Christmas present for my son-in-law. If this kind of mistake is made now I can't imagine your Christmas rush!!
Questions about TSC policies; Why isn't the customer called when their order arrives at the store (a personal touch in addition to the email). Why aren't orders marked with the customers name and placed in a designated place where all associates have access.
This is not intended to harm anyone! As a former manager, I believe in holding everyone accountable. Because the Customer signs YOUR paycheck!!

Read moreI would like to give a HUGE "thank you" to the Mr. John at Tractor Supply in Elizabethtown. I purchased 59 bags of wood pellets this morning & went home to unload. However, once I stacked & counted them, there was only 50 bags. I called the manager, Ms. Shirley, who graciously held them until I got there & told her my issue. She transferred me to speak with Mr. John, who helped load them in my truck. He did not hesitate to help me & went over my expectations!!! Mr. John lived near me & offered to deliver the 9 missing bags to my home when he got off work!!! I was overwhelmed with gratitude by his kindness!!! God bless you Mr. John for your kindness & compassion. This location is almost an hour from me & the only location that had the pellets I need to heat my home. I also had to borrow a truck to get the pallets so I was aggravated with anxiety of having to take that trip back. Mr. John did not know any of this but he solved my problem without knowing!!! I have NEVER experienced this level of customer service, EVER!!! I hope Mr. John will be reckoning for his compassion to help his customers cause he truly deserves it!!! There is still really good people in this world....Thank you Mr. John, Tractor Supply in...
