ACTUALLY I WOULD GIVE NO STARS! A FEW MONTHS AFTER THIS STORE OPENED I BOUGHT A KING SIZE HEADBOARD, SIDE RAILS & A FULL SIZE MATTRESS. I TOLD THE SALES LADY I DID'NT WANT FLOOR MODELS. SHE TOLD ME IF I COULD WAIT 2 DAYS THEY WOULD HAVE MY PURCHASES SHIPPED IN FROM THE OKC WAREHOUSE. WHEN I CAME TO PICK UP MY ITEMS WORKERS WERE WRAPPING UP THE FLOOR MODEL ITEMS FOR ME. I TOLD THE OWNER OF THE STORE THAT’S NOT WHAT I WANTED. THE OWNER THEN CALLED THE SALES LADY THAT HELPED ME (WHO, BY THE WAY HAPPENS TO BE HIS WIFE). SHE TOLD HIM THAT YES, I DID WANT THE FLOOR MODEL. I TOLD THE OWNER THAT I THINK THAT THERE’S BEEN A MISUNDERSTANDING BUT I WOULD GO AHEAD AND TAKE THE FLOOR MODEL AT A DISCOUNT. HE TOLD ME THEY DON’T GIVE DISCOUNTS ON FLOOR MODELS AND HE ADDED THAT HE HAD NEVER HEARD OF DISCOUNTING FLOOR MODELS BEFORE. HE ARGUED WITH ME ABOUT WHAT HIS WIFE HAD TOLD HIM I WANTED. I TOLD HIM THAT HE WASN’T THERE BUT I UNDERSTAND THAT YOU WOULD BELIEVE HIS WIFE OVER ME. I TOLD HIM THE FACT IS I DON’T WANT THE FLOOR MODEL I NEVER WANTED THE FLOOR MODEL. I REMINDED HIM OF HOW MUCH MONEY I SPENT IN HIS STORE & I TOLD HIM HOW MUCH TROUBLE I HAD TO GO THROUGH TO JUST COME GET THE FURNITURE AND HOW WE HAD TO CLEAR MY SON’S BEDROOM OF THE OLD FURNITURE TO MAKE ROOM FOR THE NEW FURNITURE. HE PROCEEDED TO TELL ME TWICE HOW MUCH TROUBLE HE WAS HAVING TO GO THROUGH TO HAVE HIS WORKERS UNWRAP & PUT THE FLOOR MODEL BACK TOGETHER. • HE NEVER ONCE OFFERED AN APOLOGY FOR THE MISUNDERSTANDING OR EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED THAT THERE WAS A MISUNDERSTANDING. • HE NEVER ONCE SAID THANK YOU FOR YOUR BUSINESS. • HE NEVER ONCE TRIED TO RIGHT THIS SITUATION AND MAKE ME, THE CUSTOMER, HAPPY. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OBVIOUSLY NOT A TOP PRIORITY FOR THIS NEW ELK CITY BUSINESS OWNER. I GUESS HE’D NEVER HEARD OF “THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT” EITHER. HE LOST A VALUABLE CUSTOMER. I WAS SO GLAD WHEN THIS STORE CAME TO TOWN. BUT I GUESS I WILL HAVE TO CONTINUE DOING MY FURNITURE SHOPPING ELSEWHERE. I WOULD HAVE JUST CANCELLED MY ORDER BUT I HAD PAID FOR THE FURNITURE IN ADVANCE AND WAS TOLD I WOULD TO HAVE TO PAY A 20% RESTOCKING FEE IF I CANCELLED. I HAD TO WAIT ANOTHER 2 WEEKS TO GET MY FURNITURE FROM THE WAREHOUSE. THE OWNER COULD HAVE OFFERED TO HAVE THE FURNITURE DELIVERED TO ME AT NO CHARGE BUT HE SAID IT WOULD COST ME $100 TO HAVE IT DELIVERED. THE SALES LADY (THE OWNERS WIFE) THAT HELPED ME WAS POLITE, FRIENDLY AND EAGER TO SELL FURNITURE. I BELIEVE SHE FORGOT TO ORDER MY FURNITURE AND WHEN THEY REALIZED IT WASN’T ON THE DELIVERY TRUCK THEY TRIED COVERING UP...
   Read moreThe "manager/owner" is terrible at good customer service. He was very very rude to my mother-in-law. Purchased a washer/dryer from the company. Sales person said they supply hoses on the truck. (We were told that when they deliver the unit if they can't use the old hoses they will have some on the truck.) They accidentally damaged the unit. So, had to wait to get a new unit for a couple of weeks. No problem, accidents happen. However, we drove in from the city to help move furniture and make sure delivery went smoothly. When they went to FINALLY install the units, they didn't bring any hoses, so didn't hook up the unit. When we called to ask them to come back and hook up the unit, they refused unless we paid them another $50. Considering that they damaged the unit in the first place (husband drove all the way from OKC to help move furniture to get the unit into the house) and couldn't.... then didn't bring the hoses with them, you would think they would come back and hook the units up. THEY did not. We had to hire a plumber to do it. WE WILL NEVER EVER EVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. Not because of the accident with the unit, but because of how he treated our MIL and us.
