Cardinal Wine & Spirits — Local services in Elk Grove Township

I feel like giving even one star is insanely generous. Walked in today to buy the cheapest bottle of sauvignon blanc I could find for cooking. Organization at this store is nonexistent. You walk in and you’re greeted by cases and cases of wine haphazardly strewn about with no clear organization. Finally found the domestic wine section in the back corner and found a bottle for $5.99.

I walk to the register and go around to the wrong side, because again it’s so messy in there that even the register is hard to find. I hear the cashier tapping the counter and stopping once I walked up instead of politely saying “oh come around to this side”. Insanely rude. She charged me $8.04, which seems way much even with cook county sales and liquor taxes leading me to believe their prices are all wrong and they just charge whatever they like. She didn’t give me a receipt, just shoved change into my hand, so I couldn’t check.

Do yourself a favor and go to Binny’s just down the road for better prices, a cleaner store and friendlier service. Judging by the owner’s responses to negative reviews, all of the staff working here could benefit from some serious customer service training. “We have employees that speak better English than you?” Great way to lose customers....

DO NOT TRUST THIS NASTY STORE!

THEY ACCEPT DELIVERY ORDERS TO NEVER FUFULL THEM SO YOU HAVE TO PAY A "RESTOCKING FEE" basically they just steal your money because they are a BROKE and STRUGGLING poorly run pathetic store on its last leg.

so in response to them saying, "we dont care, go somewhere else then " on my last review, like the highly unprofessional & cheap workers that they are, i will deliberately be back here very soon. and they can deal with this mess like we had to deal with trying to get our money back, which we disputed with the bank so JOKES ON YOU!

also i think its hilarious the way they threaten the people who have left them bad reviews BECAUSE THIS STORE IS IN SHAMBLES! GOOGLE is not on YOUR SIDE. go ahead an report! nothing will happen bc it is TRUE that you fail at running a respected BUSINESS. go back to college and learn a thing or two about business bc you have miserably failed! all the reviews you say you report are still up a year later, so looks like YOU ARE...

Cardinal Wine & Spirts in Mount Prospect is my go-to store for all of my liquor needs! The owner and his employees are extremely knowledgeable about the products they sell and they're friendly, helpful and are great people to do business with! They usually have what I'm looking for but if not they always find comparable products of the same or higher quality and substitute them! This store has great promotions and deals all the time! Their prices are very competitive and they match prices all the time! I'm in the store quite a lot but I also use them for their deliveries and they always take care of my needs either way. The delivery service is great when you don't feel like leaving your home but still want to get the liquor you need at a great price! I really love the massive inventory and the variety of products they have at this store! I always feel that I'm taken care of in a very professional manner. I rate this store a perfect 5 stars out of 5 stars! These guys really know how to take care of...
