GameStop — Local services in Elk Grove

They overpriced the Iono’s Bellibolt ex Premium Collection for (MSRP $39.99) and didn't even list it on their website. I sent my girl to buy an ETB there, but she bought this instead. They didn't have an ETB in stock. The vendor told her its $50 for the Iono's collection but MSRP is $39.99...... I would of bought it online at Best Buy last night then or bought it in the morning at Target when I went but I didn't want it. So I went back to return it, I asked for a refund for the package since it was unopened. They told me they don't give refunds and I told them they sold it to her at scalper price and they still said no refund or even a credit...... (DONT MISS THIS) They told me they don't get the cards from Pokemon but a third party vendor that the manager said "Buys from Pokemon." This makes me wonder if they reseal the cards before selling them and repackage them.

There was even a little bit of damage to the box. This GameStop is evil because the other GameStop in Natomas sells there stuff at MSRP...... you...

I am writing this as a follow up review to their customer service as it is less than exemplary. A couple months ago I was eyeing a ps5 game they had in stock, inventory said it was there every day I checked and the game is older, not a new release. I finally went in to purchase the game in store and the employee insisted the game didn’t “exist” in that version for the ps5. I told him I checked the inventory multiple times and stated it was there but he refused to even check the inventory and insisted I go to the Laguna store where they had the “gold” copy. Therefore I drove to the Laguna store and picked up the gold copy without issue. Months later, I came across non-gold copies of the game I was looking for that the employee insisted didn’t exist, at both wal-mart and GameStop. The professionalism of that employee and their knowledge of games is lackluster at best so I will avoid this GameStop location...

Very nice place. If they would hire a person to travel and teach 5-Star Customer Service, Steve should be the that person!

The newest young lady tall, she is VERY enthusiastic with her customer service, almost makes you smile right along with her! Could tell she was eager to learn everything possible. But she turns it on and off just like that. Good customer service then, boom back to work!

The female supervisors, ehhh, they are okay. But when in line after watching their interactions with other customers, you pray you get a regular employee to help you instead. The blonde supervisor has gotten better with her customer relations, she kind of smiles now. Supervisor with the long brown hair, almost like a robot...smile, items, scan, hello, thank you, not at this time, beep boop, goodbye.

Overall great place! Love...
