The meat counter has flies on the inside of the glass! Today I went in to purchase meat, as I was telling the meat clerk what I wanted it flew in front of me, so I went to swipe at it and it was in the case! I walked down to look at where it was landing and it was landing with a swarm of them on brown sliced steak beside the skinless chicken breast! I told the guy and he looked at me and told me in Spanish it was fine they are always flying around in there! I told him nevermind I do not want the meat. I then proceeded to the check out to pay for my bottle water and they had expired hot dogs on the ice cream machine in boxes for sale for a dollar. Then as the cashier rang my water up I looked up and seen in their bread case, thier pastries on the bottom row where molded! I asked her if she knew, she replied I don't put those there. I was treated so poorly by particular customers in this store last night. Soon as I walked up to open the door a family was mean mugging me like you don't belong here, being a black woman. When I got to the isle that same family blocked me with their grocery cart on purpose to keep me from going down the isle. I politely asked if I can get through and the lately that blocked me and her husband looked at me as if they was ready to do something to me for going down the isle. I felt like I was in a moment of Jim Crow. I just wanted a couple items. The outside of the building is a little deceptive of what can be found on the inside. The store is clean, well stocked, with a variety of foods to choose from. There are numerous persons working as butchers, therefore the wait is minimal. There is also at least a 15% discount applied when shopping on certain days during the week.
