So after a month of reading reviews, watching youtube and ticTok videos and even after getting the competitors last chance coupon, and spending numerous hours on the phone late night with Customer service I made my mind up and set my eyes on the 62" Husky Heavy Duty tool box-hutch- and locker and set out to this location. When I arrived I went to the Pro Desk as instructed by customer service reps over phone, to make my purchase. I was called up and the lady advices me "Its an online order so she can not take cash "Basically $2,400 cash," She stated that I can purchase gift cards and that's the only way to do it. Without having a card. She tells me to walk down and talk to Ms. Camele "Head Cashier". So I approach this women with excitement as this is a decent box for a good amount of honest pay. The support her and the manager she had went to search for to help provide the help I was seeking- to turning this into reality; was absolutely the best service and support I was hoping to expect from such a great place to shop. Although the one women at customer service came off kind a rude or not interested in whatever I wanted to buy, Ms. Camele absolutely found a way to connect-interact- and maintain the example of the customer service loyalty I've always known this store to have. With the assistance of a wonderful manager/team leader I assume (I'm sorry I did not catch your name) I truly can not thank you enough for making my experience the best. I can not wait to get my 62" stainless steel top 10 drawer work bench with top hutch and side locker vs that HF 72" that was a coupon deal that was cheaper but after seeing in person does not look to be in any comparison to this box at all. As well they assured me if any issues they will help get in contact with the right people to make it right and was told I would be allowed to examine it before leaving store to insure " I was getting the best quality box, that I am expecting" I can not wait to start customizing this big toolbox when it comes. Ty again Ms.Camele and the awesome staff of the Glascow De store for making my first experience making a big purchase with cash for ship to store so easy. I look forward to sharing the box finished and the ideas I have for other design lines. I will be returning for the box/combo when it comes in and doing much more customization with this purchase. You ladies are the spirit and core fundamentals of what the name and Brand stand for. I look forward to visiting your store and sharing my creativity on this project and show the gratitude of your amazing personalities and helpfulness as well interest in what I look forward to doing with this setup. Read moreThis is a horrible place to shop. My brother and I were both profiled. Then lied on saying we were stealing. Long story short after we had already purchased a $199.00 dewalt bogo deal. We continued to shop around. After about 1.5 hrs we were approached by the night Manager Jim. He started questioning us asking if we needed any help. Mind you this is the same Manager who approached us last year around Christmas time. So this is an ongoing thing. I went to pull my phone out to live stream the incident, and the manager stormed of saying there are 2 police officers at the front door who can help you. So we walk to the front door while live streaming everything, to ask the cop's what is the situation cause apparently the manager said yal are here and can help us. So I want to clarify what's going on the officers began to say no we aren't here for yal. We began to walk to the service center. On our way down we were physically pointed out by 2 other employee's. Right before the cop walked passed us to immediately approach us front behind and started demanding ID. I refused my brother complied the officer stated we are under suspicion for stealing. I took my hoodie off turn around and gave the officer permission to search us to prove neither me, or my brother was stealing anything. the officer denied the search and proceeded to hound us for a few more minutes about ID before he placed both of us into hand cuffs cause cpl Kim badge # 1888 at Troop 2 DSP was on a power trip, and I didn't provide my info when he demanded we were later searched and detained in the back of the cop's cars for 45 minutes before they released us, and gave our stuff back. This was complete humiliation and illegal neither one of us were stealing anything. I own a Handyman Service. I spend thousands of dollars at home depot.... and this is how they treat there customers and citizens in delware I will never spend another penny in this store and I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else I am still feeling emotional damage from everything that happened that night all because of WHAT!!!!!! I want answers and then I call the day time manager to talk to him about how the employees lied and started this whole disaster he hung up on me so I'm going to speak with a lawyer for civil penalties....
Read moreAnother bad encounter. It’s 1 Oct 2022 at 7:08pm. Dept manager, Lenard, was not only rude, unprofessional, yelled and spoke over me. It’s ashamed and not I see why this store has many employees that are equally rude … it’s management need development and proper coaching.
Purchased a GE Profile. It’s not approx $779 cheaper. Called customer service. They advised the store needed to make the decision to provide me the difference. The customer support escalation agent, very professional and helpful, offered to phone the store and connect me with the store manager. Enter Lenard. Without even asking me to explain the nature of my call, he asked if the agent notified me of the 30 day policy. I told him I asked to speak with a a manager and the rep connected with with him. He then alerted me that there is no discretion and that I had passed the thirty day policy. I asked him to provide his name and advise if he was the store manager or a dept manager. He laughed and advised he wasn’t the store manager. I then asked for the name of the store manager and when that person would be on-site. Rather than listening to my question, Lenard raised his voice contending the store manager wouldn’t be able to do anything. I paused and repeated my question. He refused. I third a third and final time and his alerted me the manager’s is Anthony and he would be in on Monday. I thanked the gentleman and disconnected.
It’s shameful that I am in the process of buying additional kitchen appliances and this is the treatment I receive. Shameful. Reckless. And unwarranted.
Am writing their corporate office with a written formal complaint. This was not called for in anyway.
