3 of us visited Tikka Masala for the first time (late December, 2019) and was very pleased with flavorful tasty spicy food that was not hot (mild was requested and that is what we received). We had samosa, Lasooni Paneer, Mango Lassi, Chicken Tikka Masala, Fish Tikka Masala, Malai kofta with Peshawari Naan, Butter Naan, Garlic Naan & Basmati rice. Quantity was plenty to take home and have another meal for all 3 of us. Wish Tikka Masala well and hope they maintain the same consistency and quality in the future. Thank you.
2nd Visit: 7 of us went for lunch today - 01/24/2020. The place was full and they made us comfortable. Ordered variety of appetizers, breads, entrees: veg and non-veg and all were good. Once again food was flavorful and spicy without being 'hot'. Mild and medium heat was requested and that is what we got. Wish Tikka Masala well and hope they maintain the same consistency and quality in the future. Thank you.
Recent visit: 10/25/22. Two of us had lunch. Once again enjoyed it like many times in the past. For those who are like me and prefer spicy and flavorful food, but not 'hot' ask for "baby mild". It has worked every time. For dine-in, it is not fancy and you get disposable plates and cutlery. Wish Tikka Masala well and hope they maintain the same consistency and quality in the...
Read moreSeen by fiance, he wanted to try a new cuisine and have more then 3 options for him as a vegetarian. We decided to check it out. You can either order at the counter or seat yourself for wait service. There were 6 of us, and none of us had ever tried indian cuisine, so we chose to be waited on. The staff were well versed in their options and able to help us even though we had no idea what to expect. Their physical menu had no descriptions, but their website did, so we used that to guide us as well as asking our server. Each dish came out as it was ready, we decided to all try a little of what everyone else ate and so noone truly had to wait on food. The place was packed from the time we got there to the time we left. You could tell pride was taken in each dish that came out and that they truly wanted everyone to enjoy themselves. Going in completely changed my view on the cuisine. I expected everything to be spicy, when in reality everything was "spiced" just not in a way my palate was used to. (I purposely made sure to avoid as much spice as possible) On the other hand, another guest at our table really wanted the authentic spice and got exactly that. They even had a handful of dishes that were absolutely kid friendly that would do well for first timers too. Overall loved our experience and will...
Read moreI recently visited a fantastic tikka masala restaurant for their weekend lunch buffet, which runs from 12-3 PM. We arrived a bit late, around 2:20, due to my baby, but the experience was worth it! The buffet had an impressive variety-two vegetarian and two non-vegetarian starters, two vegetarian and two non-vegetarian entrees, along with a vegetarian pulav, non-vegetarian biryani, and two dessert options. Unfortunately, I was so full from trying all the non-vegetarian dishes that I didn't get to taste the vegetarian options, like shahi paneer and vegetable kadhai. Here's what I enjoyed: ponugulu, veg pakora, tandoori fish, Apollo chicken, mutton rogan josh, methi chicken, veg pulav, chicken dum biryani, gulab jamun and tea. Each dish was delicious, showcasing authentic flavors. Even their tea is good. The staff was incredibly attentive, constantly ensuring that the buffet was stocked and that we had everything we needed. Even though they mentioned the buffet would be refilled until 2:45, they were committed to making sure we had a great dining experience until we finished. With a rotating menu each week, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in Delaware. I'm sure it will become a favorite spot for many!
I highly recommend trying their mutton rogan josh—anyone who loves mutton must...
