Pebble Beach Condos — Local services in Emerald Isle

We've stayed in this complex twice now as renters and overall we think it's great. The places are nice, and the beach access and pools are great. But we had a horrible experience in G212 this year and will never stay again. The owners claim the unit is "no pets" but very clearly have had dogs there (there is dog hair embedded in the carpet, the furniture and really the whole condo smells like dog and there is dog hair in the door jams). This is a terrible false advertising for people who have dog allergies and we spent the whole week (and the next) sick. Doesn't seem like the owners have a whole lot of pride in the place; there were many minor annoyances too (terrible paper towel and toilet paper holders, smoke detector batteries had not been changed so it went off at 4am, dryer was so loud you could barely use it, someone thought it was a good idea to put an egg crate mattress cover on top of a foam mattress (IT's NOT!) among other things... We ate out more than we planned just to avoid staying in the home b/c i couldn't breathe when sitting on the furniture... Really disappointing! Shame on the owners and shame on...

My family and I rented a condo for a week while visiting emerald isle. Upon arriving we were met with a disgusting unit that looked like it's barely been cleaned. Beer cans under the bathroom sink, toilet and tubs were filthy, what looked to be coke spilt on the walls, and debris on the stairs walking up to the unit as some highlights. Not to mention we found a cockroach in the kitchen on our last night. The construction crew there didn't make things easier- often drinking on the job, blocking in cars with their equipment (with little motive to move in any hurry). It wasn't completely negative, however. The pools were very nice (even with the indoor pool shut down), and the location in comparison to the beach was nice. We also enjoyed the enclosed porch.

Overall: Great place if you're wanting to clean up someone...

We stayed in July 2022 in C-103 at Pebble Beach. This condo is updated and very spacious. The unit has a distant ocean view which is ok considering the unit has a porch swing and is close proximity walking to all the pools and beach access. Beds very comfortable and 2 bathrooms with wonderful walk-in showers. I love Pebble Beach complex because there is plenty of wide open parking, grills, tennis court, 2 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool. Even though we went during July 4th the complex never seemed crowded around the pools. Pebble Beach is also close to stores, Waterpark for kids, ice cream shop. By far the best private complex to stay at Emerald Isle! Complex is gated so very safe and security guards are very friendly...
