This is a really lovely store with logical organization, an extensive selection, and a generous sale section. The ladies were very helpful, and also very kind to my two young children who were causing a small bit of chaos in pulling some items off displays. I made sure everything returned to it's rightful place, and no one gave me grief about it, which I'm very thankful for. I was disappointed to leave without buying any yarn, most especially considering their kindness and patience to me. I've already got a few projects on my to-do that I'll need to complete before I can justify buying more yarn. But I hope to return once that's all through, maybe in a few months, and utilize their selection. There are several qualities that separate Conversational Threads from the average yarn store. First and foremost is yarn selection and quality. Here you can get Malabrigo or pretty much anything hand-spun/hand-dyed that your heart desires. The service is great and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. My favorite part of all is the ambiance. You can just go hang out and knit with friends, and they are happy to have your company. They have it all and provide customer-friendly service. This place is amazing. Two large rooms FULL to the brim with gorgeous yarns of all kinds affordable to high luxury. Very reliable, friendly and informative staff. They are always very kind to my kids and talk to them like they smol humans and not garbage people like at some fiber shops. They also have plenty of needles and hooks, patterns and classes.
