Purr Haus — Local services in Emmaus

This beautifully set up boutique has it ALL...literally! When you walk in, you know you are in cat heaven! Only the best of the best products are offered. The owner, Laurie, does her research to find quality items for both us (cat lovers) and our beloved kitties. It's hard not to walk out with multiple bags of goodies each time I visit. Seriously!

But...I have to say, what draws me to this store more than anything is the direct involvement of the owner with local rescues and her weekly kitten/cat adoption events held right at the store. She also consistently hosts fundraisers to help various agencies (who help cats in need, of course) and is constantly giving back by offering products from companies who donate a portion of their proceeds to helping cats, as well. Shopping at Purr Haus is a win-win. Yes, you get great stuff, but you're also contributing to a good cause...

So, so happy that I stumbled upon the Purr Haus. Cute little gift shop for cats and cat lovers. The store is super clean and well-organized and has a great variety of unique, quirky, and high-quality products such as toys, treats, accessories, and apparel. The owner is also very kind and loves to chat. It's really neat that they give back to the community by inviting cat rescue organizations each weekend to their meet-n-greet room. Laurie was so helpful when we came in recently to browse. She has so many unique gifts for cats (and their people). It’s also clear how much she cares for these animals. Her store has a room where you can visit with cats up for adoption. It’s decorated with hundreds of photos of the adoptions she’s helped facilitate. I know it’s been Laurie’s dream for a while to open a cat-themed shop. I’m so happy that she’s been successful and created something truly special...
