McCoy's RadioShack — Local services in Emporia

I went to McCoy’s Radio Shack in Emporia, KS to look at updating our LG TV that quit after 9 years. Josh was great to work with. He was very knowledgeable about the products and helped me make the right decision. I also decided to update my LG sound bar to a new Polk sound bar with surround sound. They offered zero percent interest for 12 months through Wells Fargo, which made this purchase easier to swallow with smaller monthly payments. I did have trouble with the first Polk system I received. The surround speakers did not work correctly, but McCoy’s was able to replicate the issues and replaced the system. I am extremely happy with my purchase and will definitely return to McCoy’s in Emporia for my next entertainment purchase. I would also like to add, while on the search for a TV, I came across McCoy’s Facebook page. Josh does short videos of new products or showcasing items they have in store. It was because of one of his videos that I decided to go to McCoy’s, rather than looking at Walmart or even Best Buy. I called twice and got the exact same quote on my phone. Went in paid and turned out that they quoted me the wrong price. TWO different people quoted me the exact same price. Ended up having to pay way more than the price they told me originally. They repaired my screen and it works. Only reason why they should get a one star. Asked them to reset my phone and they said it was going to be an extra $20 just to reset the phone. I went ahead and paid it. Told him I would be back to pick it up in an hour and he said that was fine and he would have it ready by then. Went to back to pick up my phone and he had done nothing to the phone. I asked for my $20 back and he said he would not be able to refund me money back since he had already worked on it, but yet my phone was exactly the same and had not been touched. Ridicules!!! So much time...

This place is FANTASTIC! I have a Samsung S20, and I had went to the local Verizon store to get a liquid screen protector. It did not work, I ended up with so many scratches on my screen. So I got in touch with the awesome Josh Blaisdell and inquired about the liquid glass. I'll tell you what, this stuff is literally liquid gold!! I also purchased the scratch buffer. Josh was able to buff out most of the smaller scratches and then applied the liquid glass for me. It has worked amazingly. I have dropped my phone so many times, and it hasn't had any new scratches. Not to mention I have pretty big metal earrings in my ears, that could potentially scratch my screen even more and they don't!! Totally worth the cost and absolutely worth my time!! Thank...
