This wasn't just a pedicure: it was a much-needed ESCAPE from the daily grind! After months of stress +rare stepping out, my visit to J Nails and Spa was pure Joy. The Festive holiday decorations all decked-out, refreshing treats, AND attentive staff (even during their BUSY holiday rush) instantly melted away worries.
Their professionalism shines, especially w/ the incredible nail art skills. My pedicure looked exactly like the color chosen, & the 2 techs pampered both husband & i, with patience & kindness. While slight language barrier (i had time getting massage chair working), their warmth, consideration, attention was evident with us.
Some of the true Joy of the evening came from the young employee working on other clients. His cheery laughter FILLED the salon, having everyone Smiling/Laughing....adding to the Christmas atmosphere. It was a Pure delight to witness the shared joy by everyone there & made my relaxation even more so!
The salon= Spotless... Prices= fair. More importantly, they make you feel genuinely welcome – like a true guest in their own home. I highly recommend J Nails and Spa to anyone seeking a relaxing escape.
Don't miss out on the massage chairs...Love these!
Thank you, J Nails and Spa for a Wonderful experience. You're Truly a Joy to be around!...
Read moreI was absolutely disgusted with my first experience here. I called and made an appointment and they confirmed. And when I showed up I got this lady who was very friendly in the beginning until I expressed that I wasn’t happy with her work. I asked her to redo my acrylic in my big toe and instead she went over it. Clearly there was a language barrier and it’s understandable. But if you can’t understand don’t just say ok if you don’t know what I’m saying. So then she continued to do my other acrylic on my big toe and it looked horrible. So when I proceeded to explain ti her I don’t like it she ignored me and then finally when I asked her to redo them she finally got someone else to explain and then she got noticeably upset and started to take her anger out on me by hitting my skin with the drill atleast FOUR times. Once or twice is an accident. 4 times isn’t and then when I pulled back cause it hurt. She smirked and didn’t apologize or even say my bad. Then took the thing that separates the toes and snatches it off me and throws it. At that point I’ve had enough and I asked for someone else and then I got someone else finally and not one of the staff apologized for the behavior or anything. I paid and tipped the new girl and I will never go back again. I do not...
Read moreI'm giving this place two stars because I went there 3 times and had a less than sparkling experience 2 out of 3 times.
The first visit was fantastic!! I got French tips, they took their time and made them nice and thin as I like them. The guy worked hard and made sure he paid attention to detail. I was so happy I went a second time. On the next visit, there was less attention to detail spent. The guy was always looking away, having conversations with everyone else that works there. I was genuinely worried a few times that I'd get cut while he was cleaning my nails up for a fill. The 3rd time I went, it was terrible. The person doing my nails was watching TV the entire time. He must have looked down at my nails once or twice the whole time. I was so anxious and worried that I was going to get cut. How do you work on someone with those machines and stare at the tv the entire time? He also barely cleaned up the excess acrylic material under my nails. He just wasn't present, and it felt like he was bothered that I had interrupted his tv time. I tipped well all three times even though the service's quality and the finished product was going down. I never went back again and probably never will. I do not recommend. They have the skills, they just don't apply them...
