Walgreens — Local services in Englewood

This review is for their pharmacy, specifically a woman who answers the phone and a female pharmacist who works there. They have zero customer service skills and are very rude. The woman answering the phone pretends to put you on hold but you can clearly hear her exasperated eye rolling commentary to the pharmacist. She should really clamp her hand tighter around the phone if she wants to not be heard. The pharmacist has zero empathy for people trying to call prescriptions in for sick babies so we don’t have to wait 20 min with a screaming baby to pick it up. Especially since we filled it there before. Next time I will bring my screaming and coughing baby to wait right there in front of her. What a lack of empathy. It’s not for a narcotic and I know for a fact people just call in pretending to be from a medical office and they start the process no problem. I had the paper script with the npi and dea and could have rattled it off to her like a medical secretary or MA who do it all the time. Had to wait for my husband to pick up hours later and it still took them 25 minutes to fill. Do not go to this pharmacy. Oh sorry I do have to say the rest of the score looks creepy...

What an extremely horrible experience. I called in to ask about which brands of the covid test are available and as I am talking to the guy on the phone, I am placed on hold and the manager comes on. She wouldn’t let me get a word in about asking when and how I can come pick up a covid test, she immediately said that “we are closing early due to covid “ then promptly hung up on me. This is terrible customer service. If you are looking for courteous service this is not the place. I was literally just asking a question to make a purchase and was blown off and hung up on. The pharmacy department needs to be better with customer service and greeting people i was standing and waiting nobody said hello or we will be there with you shortly just complete silence and just inconsiderate with your time they give you a time to pick up your prescriptions and it's never ready on the time they say just keep you waiting with no updates and communication...
