Far East Kitchen — Restaurant in Englewood

Typical Chinese takeout place located 3 blocks away from us, which is why I can't judge them on delivery times. It's not that we don't order delivery, but it wouldn't be fair to say they're super fast because of how close we live (it's always under 20 minutes).

We order from here once a week. The prices are good and the food is tasty. We love their dumpling sauce, it's the best we've had from a Chinese takeout place and their boneless ribs are some of the leanest we've had. We haven't really had anything from there we didn't like, and we've had A LOT. They have chicken meatballs too which are tasty (not on the menu, but written on a sign inside the place).

The only two things we wouldn't order from here again are: The Beef Sticks. The last 2 times they were burnt. Not charred slightly, but burnt all over. This time they had to remake them and redeliver them for us. Hot & Sour Soup. Lacking in flavor, but I'm kind of a Hot & Sour Soup connesiour.

Also, just a heads up, if you order stuff extra spicy like me, it's not even close to being spicy....but that's how it is with most Chinese takeout places.

Update: tried the beef sticks again after a long time of avoiding them, and they are really good now. I also ordered the hot & sour soup again but added a hot sauce packet and it...

Rudest Chinese spot I’ve ever been to! Never again am I coming here with my family. We ordered almost $40 worth of food. We saw a table inside so we decided to eat and they said it’s only takeout. That’s absurd!!! They don’t even have signs saying it’s only takeout!!! I asked them why is there a table with four chairs if customers can’t come in and sit to eat, their answer was that it’s only for employees!!!! That’s F ridiculous! The woman that works there has the only b face I can practically read her thoughts, I don’t understand her attitude!! Don’t come here if you plan to eat inside. I’m taking my money elsewhere where staff is nicer and allows you to dine inside BECAUSE I AM A PAYING...

All I ordered was a small French fries, they told me over the phone 5 min. I got there well over them 5 min had to wait… fine. When I got home and gonna enjoy my fries I see half are rotten or just full of oil u can tell by the color. Some of the fries have some kind of sauce that I never added. So what they did is they re-fried some canceled ordered and served it to me. How disgusting is that, what horrible restaurant ethic is that??? Never buying here again I suggest u do the same.
