Came in to find soccer cleats for my 4 y/o granddaughter. One employee the entire time I was there on the sales floor. I asked the employee (which had ZERO personality) for 2 sizes, upsized just incase. He stood there on the phone searching for the sizes. I could clearly see that the page wasn't loading, he got out of it and started to search again, that's when I asked if he could just go in the back and look, that it would take less time than searching. He looked at me like I was crazy, but he did go look. We did have to check 3 different cleats because they didn't have the sizes or too small/big. I was the one getting the cleats out and fitting my granddaughter, not once did he offer or attempt to do his job. He didn't speak unless I asked him a question. I did find a pair that worked and as I was headed up to the counter I noticed another woman at the woman's shoe wall. He never acknowledged her, even when we walked right by her. If this is what customer service is like now at Hibbett, I would rather go into Academy, (which is what I will be doing from here on out). I am not angry, I'm disappointed. I was a DM for over 10 years of my 12 years with Hibbett (994 was my office store). This was the 2nd or 3rd time since I retired almost 4 years ago shopping at Hibbett & it seems customer service isn't a priority. I don't need anything or a call back, I just wanted the company to be aware of the lack of service, which is the cause of no one shopping at your store.

Read moreCame in shopping today 9/17/24 around 12pm for shoes for my kids and while looking one of your female employees came over to assist. While looking at the shoes that were on sale your employee made an off hand comment about y’all having had more on sale but “the Hispanics” (her words exactly) had bought them all. I don’t know what her point was or why it was necessary to mention race however I am a Hispanic woman and didn’t care for her choice of words or need to point out previous customers race. Really what does that have to do with anything? My husband and I politely pretended to shop for a bit longer then left. I will not be giving my hispanic business to a place that would condone such behavior… Do...
Read moreThe employees in this store are more concerned about chatting with each other rather than focusing on the customer. When I let them know I needed assistance with shoes, the employee went to the back and used the walkie to let his friend know he wasn’t helping us further. He came back with our shoes put them on the bench and walked away. I really should not have purchased those shoes, my husband wanted to walk out but I insisted it was their job to help us so we went ahead and purchased the shoes. So sad kids have no work ethic now days and this store is taking the bad rep for it. I will not be visiting this...
