Save your money and buy the packs of tonkotsu ramen at Costco. This was easily some of the worst ramen I’ve had, and their customer service is severely lacking. Once I got home I called back to explain that it was cold & there was hardly any broth in the bowls we had ordered to go and the existing broth had no flavor, then politely asked for a refund (because that wasn’t what we paid for and we didn’t want to eat it). The man on the phone chose to get defensive and argue with me about soup. He questioned me about the amount of broth I had, as if I wasn’t already explaining it clearly, and at one point suggested that i drive all the way back to get more of their nasty broth rather than just give me a refund. Couldn’t help but laugh because I have never experienced someone argue with me over something so dumb. The best part is that they probably only lost like $5 in product, so a refund wouldn’t have hurt them. We’ve been here a few times, mostly because there are hardly any dining options in Enid. Their food is subpar at best, and with this experience I don’t think...
Read moreRoadtripping through the state and was craving something other than drive through eats. Asian fare is always my go to. I placed a to go order online for a steak teriyaki dinner bento box and some fried pork buns. Order confirmed and was a quick 20 minutes until pickup. We fueled up across the street while we waited. Order was ready and staff was friendly at pick up.
I was really impressed with the presentation and quality of the food. The bento box had slices of tender steak, 6 pieces of a California roll, 2 gyoza dumplings, 2 shrimp tempura, rice and vegetables, miso soup and a salad. After snacking all day in the car it was a perfect portion for us to share and have a “real” meal.
The fried pork buns had crispy pork, a fresh soft bun and was already garnished with veggies and hoisin sauce.
Would recommend for travelers wanting a good meal that is not too far off the...
Read moreI went for the Grand Opening and with an open mind since this is Oklahoma, and I can'texpect perfect ramen. Immediately, I noticed that the writing on the walls was all in simplified Chinese, and my mother and I were the only Asian patrons. No biggie, it's Oklahoma at a new place, after all. The Chinese on the wall was a little odd, though, since the place is supposed to be Japanese food, and it's called Tokyo Ramen. I ordered the volcano ramen, which was actually quite good for Enid, Oklahoma. I also got tje Lychee Ramune which was titled on the menu as "Japanese Soda". Overall, pretty good ramen!
I remember one of the quotes was “人生如初见一碗馄屯一碗面” which means like "life is like seeing a bowl of wonton and a bowl of noodles for the first time"
Also, they offered a 10% discount on the bill if we left a...
