Edited review after dress arrived: Honestly, I wanted to love this place but, the experience was extremely disheartening. I went in to try dresses and found, what I thought was the one. The reciept of original purchase, clearly shows a size four. They said it would take around 7 months. Seven months later, I came in to pick up my dress and it was a size 8. My mothers dress was also messed up and was two sizes too big. They had messed up two dresses. I told them that it was to big and that I needed the 4. They tried to tell my mom and I that I had lost weight ........ I had not. Once they figured out that excuse was not going to fly, they attempted to blame it on the designer, saying that they send measurements to the designer and what the designer does with the measurements is not under their control. They flip flopped between these two excuses for a while. They tried to make is stick with a product that did not meet the standards of what we had paid for. After around a month of back and forth, as well as, a week of tears. They finally allowed me to go in and try on a 4, in order to prove that I was a 4. Low and behold, the 4 fit like a glove. I decided to go with a different dress because I did not trust the same dress to come in, with the correct sizing. They said they would order it and send it to me. They sent it to me stuffed in a box carelessly. I do not know if the dress appears used because it is from the rack or if it is because it was damaged during shipping. It appeared to be worn a couple times and used, based on the facts: the bra cups are loose, many spots of the dress have loose lace, the straps are popping out and some of the elastics for the buttons of the dress are no longer holding the buttons. They treat you like gold until you pay, once you are no longer a customer in their eyes. They treat you like you have to deal with whatever they want you to deal with. Horrendous customer service, if I could go back in time, I would have avoided this place entirely. As a bride, a week of tears and 4 months of headache is not worth my time. Read moreI wanted to love this place but it was extremely disappointed as prices kept changing and customer service varied wildly depending on who I talked to. I was a groom getting married and I needed to set up the account to get my groomsmen their suits as well as mine. I initially called to inquire about pricing and timelines and more information about that process, and the person I spoke to told me a certain price for rental pants/jackets, as well as a certain price for my own suit, and assured me my groomsmen would have the option to either purchase or rent their pants. When I showed up to the bridal shop, perhaps I was talking with a different woman, but she told me a completely different price for my suit, and told me that my groomsmen absolutely could NOT purchase their pants, they had to buy them. Additionally, the price for my groomsmen to rent was substantially higher than we had discussed over the phone. Worst of all, the suit I ended up purchasing was available at a different retailer for nearly $100 less than what I bought it for at the bridal shop. Then, after purchasing, I was told the suit would be ready for pickup “within a few weeks,” and that they would give me a call when it was ready. Lo and behold well over a month later and edging up to the wedding date, my suit still wasn’t ready. My suit wasn’t ready for pickup until about 3 months later, just a couple weeks before my actual wedding. Then my groomsmen told me the ladies they spoke to on the phone were snappy at them when they asked when their pants would be shipped to them. Read moreThe Bridal Shop in Enid, Oklahoma offers a wonderful experience for any bride-to-be. I brought my dad, grandma, and great-aunt to help me decide which dress would be my dream wedding dress. I felt very pampered, even as a plus-size bride.
You can schedule an appointment for yourself and your bridesmaids. They have different tiers. One of which offers champagne for your guests. The consultants were very friendly and there were loads of dress options in my size (26).
I found my dress, jewelry, and veil all at the same place. My only concern was that they had only one size dressing gown. I felt exposed and embarrassed between dresses and they handed me the robe as though it would fit me as a 3x lady when it was obviously a size small or medium. At the end of the day, they had a dress that would fit me well, without alterations.
They do offer payment arrangements. I paid about half of the cost up front and had the option for the remainder to auto-draft in equal installments. Right before we picked the dress up, they had it steamed and packed it up with a beautiful bag and all of the accessories with it.
They offer wedding dress preservation as well. It is an extra cost, but would be well worth the experience to save a piece of the day forever. Make sure to call ahead and schedule an appointment for a seamless experience. I also recommend coming with hair and makeup so you can really get a full picture of what you'll look like on your big day.
