I moved to Epping almost 3 years ago. I find the ladies at the town offices incredible nice
Every Time! I think they are wonderful
My dealings with the building department we're also incredle. For years I have been dealing with building inspectors in NY, MA, CT, ME, RI and New Hampshire
Code enforcement is a very difficult job and people including me don't like to be hassled. It is very upsetting when the enforcement body let's ego get in the way and they make things hard just to show who is in charge.
I have never experienced this attitude from Dennis or anyone in that office. They keep it simple and make sure compliance is maintained. With this in mind, if you have a disagreement they don't get mad and try to get even rather they genuinely listen and if your point is valid they are flexible. You can tell with them that if they are wrong (which isn't that often) that they genuinely care and will try and help you get to the desired goal as easily as possible
I am truely greateful for this and am proud of the people that represent my new home town with a very qualified understanding of the alternatives
And no I don't know anyone personally at the town hall
And I don't need to suck...
Read moreMichele Murphy is not only snarky and arrogant but can add slander to her power trip. She called last year saying I didn't register my dogs, I told her I did and have the license. Now this year my husband went to register a car and she had the audacity to straight out LIE about me. She told him our dogs licenses are due soon and claimed she had to hunt me down to pay last year. He informed her that her selective memory failed her as i actually had registered them and she tried to charge me twice. She then falsely declared any extra money paid was in late fees.. Licenses proving otherwise.. both issued before they were due 4/30 so clearly no reason to hunt me down and no charge for late...
Read moreStaff was proficient, professional, knowledgeable and very polite. They go above and beyond the make your experience a positive one. Face it, many of us only go to the Town Hall to give them money for this or that. No one enjoys handing over money they worked hard to earn. Unfortunately it's something that we all have to do. The employees do everything they can to make the experience as painless as possible. We should be thankful for the dedication of the staff instead of complaining about long lines they have no control if we all show with in the same time span, don't yell at them for things out of their control, they will attempt to help you. So please let's say Thank You! The building survived covid...
