Horrible experience there. One of their vendors stepped on my foot I kept him from falling over backwards and then he got really rude with me. I spoke with the store manage Rocky about the incident, he was very un caring, didn't care a thing about what happened and when I wanted an incident report filled out he claimed he could not fill one out and he did not. After arguing back and fourth he told me he was done talking with me but yet wanted my phone number even though he was done talking to me. This happened back in July and I have since stopped shopping there and I take my business across town to Price Less. More than happy with the change anyways, priceless meat taste way better than food lions. Some of the cashiers at food lion are straight up rude, but it's beyond ridiculous that the store manager wasn't able to fill out a incident report, he did tell me he rarely has to do them... I can see why he just looks for reasons to tell someone that he cannot do it. He also would not give me the phone number for the office of the vendor that employed the driver that stepped on me and was really rude with me. I was wearing shoes that are called "five finger shoes" so I did not have any protection so it did cause some pain and I did not in the least appreciate how I...
Read moreIf I could give zero I would. The staff aren’t ever personable when I am there always very rude. I try not to go there but when I do the people who work there are always rude and standoffish. Once I went in to get one thing and only brought $60 in with me because I thought it’d be enough, however I end up getting a buggy full. I noticed before I went to the register and sat my buggy aside to go outside and get more money. Once I was rung up the guy was slowing scanning things and told me to let me know if he needed to stop and then proceeded to tell ask if I was paying with food stamps. :( very distasteful and rude I work hard for my money and don’t get any so it was awful for him to assume. Tonight the staff was just rude. So thankful for the food city being built that’s where...
Read moreGreat store to shop, very clean and well stocked. The best part of shopping here is zero self checkout and you get to interact with humans. It’s nice to have someone to ring up and bag your groceries and not have to do it all your self. There are plenty of places to go to ring up your own stuff and not get paid extra to do it or get price break to do so. Support small town atmosphere and support businesses that still employ cashiers and actual people. Also prices here are really good especially with the mvp card and if you take time to use the app extra deals on there too!! My recent purchase would have been just over 20 bucks and it ended up being 14.21 out the door with...
