This is a rarity for me to leave a bad review. I dined with this restaurant this past Sunday. The waitress who did her best is about all I can say positively about this experience. First off the whole restaurant was being run by one waitress. The restaurant did not have French fries for the kids menu and ran out of sweet tea half way through our meals and refused to make more. The manager/ possibly the owner stood at the counter and watched this poor waitress struggle the entire time while doing very little of anything at all to help her. Even with the poor service and inattentive people with a party of 6 or more you are charged an automatic 18.5% gratuity on your check and somehow they still expect a tip. Then to top this experience off the food was cold and of a poor quality with extra salty steak and chicken that tasted like the flat top hadn't been cleaned in 42 seasonings. The food was dang near inedible.....Hands down this is one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. I hope that anyone who reads this drives to another town to find a place to eat if this is the last place on earth to eat. For 3 small kids and 4 adults with drinks and the added gratuity the meal was just a dollar or two short of 100 bucks.....I don't even know what else I can say but drive past this place and gain speed as...
Read moreHave to say we were quite disappointed. We had 4 adults and 3 children and while my initial thought was-This place is good- that quickly changed! My shredded chicken dish had no vegetables as stated and the chicken was SO dried out and bland that I couldn't eat it. Even the guacamole salad tasted spoiled. My daughters Pollo Loco tasted old as well. The cheese dip had a strange film on it. The dinner equivalent of the Speedy Gonzalez were left half eaten. The beans were decent as well as the tenders and fries one of my grands ordered. We weren't offended drink refills and I had to find our server sitting in the lobby with a co-worker to request one. The place was a ghost town at 4pm so it wasn't like he was busy with other tables. I'm in the food biz and certainly understand being understaffed and overworked. But if the sign on the door when we arrived that stated they were going to be closed on Mondays for the time being -maybe management needs to consider closing Sundays as well. To not only give your employees a well deserved break-but start FRESH-bright and early Tuesday morning to prep fresh ingredients. What we were served this afternoon were at the very best last...
Read moreThis little place is a family run restaurant with a simple, yet incredibly delicious menu. Sure, they don't have mixed drinks, but for a small business - they do the best they can to offer what's available. Every time we've gone, the service has been great, very attentive and we have yet to have a bad experience here. The menu items are priced more than fairly for the portion size and the salsa is just the right balance of flavor and heat for fans of mild salsa. I always get the enchilada Supreme and sub the enchilada sauce with cheese dip. Is it cheesy? Oh yeah, but that's what I enjoy. When a family of four can come, get four entrees, Unlimited chips and salsa, a large bowl of queso and drinks for under $60 - its hard to beat. Try them out, you'll be...
